Best outdoor venue in Akron! I had my daughter's baby shower here and we were so happy from the ease of working with Debbie the owner, planning the menu and the effort they made to make this a special day for everyone who attended! The food was exceptional, the staff was attentive and made sure everything was just perfect! Plan your special event at Old 97 Cafe!!!
This place was great. first time here tonight and will definitely be back. Karey and Keefe are outstanding bar tenders and the mushrooms we had were out of this world. highly recommend this spot.
Old 97 was an amazing host for our amazing wedding. The price for the service that provide is beyond compare. They went above and beyond to make our day of so easy and stress free. Our guests loved all of the food and the atmosphere. We couldn't have asked for a better location for our wedding!
Was here for a wedding and reception. Was a nice place. Would not recommend it for people with disabilities. The restrooms are located at the bottom of some very steep steps.

Went here for a wedding reception and had a fantastic time! The ambiance was perfect and the staff was incredible kind! The drinks were so good I barely noticed my girlfriend getting hit on by a groomsmen trying to win her over! What a great night!
The place is very expensive. Not to mention the customers park down the strip in front of the place and totally block everybody from turning left onto the side street beside the place..which is illegal. If you want to turn onto the side street you have to go further down the road where the parked cars stop and make a u turn and circle back to the road you need...They never put a stop to this behavior so yes the owners are part of the problem.
