Mustard seed market what can i say its an amazing place, its rare to see a place that i think actually cares about whats on there shelves... the store/markets is amazingly clean and a proper market as well as a very good restaurant on the upper deck you can grab a quick launch and dine in or out side on the balcony and take in the view of Highland Square and just relax for a bit... they offer plenty of parking to theres even a library right next door you can pick up a nice book step into the market grab a nice cup of their wonderful coffee step out on the patio and do some light reading and enjoy your day before shopping for your groceries and head back home its an Island Oasis in the middle of Akron Ohio its a great place to Escape for a little bit and that's rare in today's world... good job Mustard Seed Market !!!.
Mustard Seed is an organic grocery store that is wonderful. Mustard Seed also has a cafe that uses the produce and meats from the grocery store to prepare and serve. The menu is diverse with vegan, gluten-free, and other foods. The cafe is quaint and bustling with people all of the time. Besides the food, one of the best things about the Cafe is the entertainment and the outdoor patio. It has nice furniture that seats small and big groups. If you have a chance, stop by this jewel in Highland Square!
We had a great little weekend brunch here. The food was full of flavor and well priced. The service was excellent. We are looking forward to coming back!
To select something from their prepared food section then take it upstairs to enjoy is a great favorite of mine. Can't wait till the outdoor patio is ready for visitors. It's the perfect perch to watch the traffic of Highland Square!!
I absolutely love this grocery store/restaurant. They have a grocery store on the first floor and a restaurant on the second floor. Everything is made fresh at the restaurant. Everything is relatively healthy. They have a lot of vegan, vegetable, and meat options in the restaurant. They carry a great selection of organic produce and other organic items. They carry no nitrate meats. They have a fresh deli area where you can get quick food items that are healthy to go.
The best of both worlds, this wonderful neighborhood grocery also features a cafe. In addition to exclusively all organic, non mgo, and often local grocery offerings, the prepared food section is unmatched. The cafe is truly Akron's living room featuring a fire place, full bar and kitchen with ample seating both indoor and in summer outdoors as well. From craft beer to cocktails, the drinks much like the food menu features seasonal offerings that are fresh, exciting and consistent.
I use to frequent the Mustard Seed in Solon, Ohio. After relocating back from out of state recently I visited the Mustard Seed in Akron, Ohio. I was so disappointed with everything. I tried to keep an open mind but it didn’t work. I won’t be returning in the future, too far of a drive now & doesn’t give me that great shopping experience that I enjoyed. Don’t get me wrong the employees were very helpful. But it wasn’t Solon which also had other surrounding shopping places as well. I wish you well!
What's not to love...they have some of the best vegan, vegetarian food in general. Staff is super nice. Salad and fruit bar has one of the largest selections ever and always very fresh. Cooked food, pre-made food fresh food. The pizza slices are awesome, specifically the artichoke one.
The cafe is a must-visit for me anytime I’m in Akron! It’s a really great and chill restaurant with really high quality and unique dishes. They also have an extensive drinks menu. They even have live music sometimes and since it’s on the 2nd floor, it has cool views of Highland Square! I definitely recommend it.
The playlist in the cafe is fire. Keep it up. ?
