I hardly ever leave a review unless it’s really good or really bad. Do not order a gyro here. Worst gyro I ever had. I asked for no tomato and add jalapeño with extra sauce. The meat is dry, it’s sloppily put together, hardly any sauce let alone extra. The pita and lettuce are soggy and clearly there are tomatoes and no jalapeños. Maybe other sandwiches are good but not this one.
Came back today haven’t been here in a while and I have to say the place has gone way down hill from what it was. Dark, Dirty, Sticky, Reeking of Marijuana, and non professional workers who dress even less professional. The workers rather talk between each other then do their actual jobs. Most deep fry stuff here will taste like their funnel cake fries because they have no clue how to keep them from separate fryers. Your food will be cold since they won’t call your name if you been waiting a long time go remind them so they can grab your food that has been sitting their for 10 mins. This place I use to recommend to people now I feel embarrassed for mentioning to anyone. The owner either quit caring or sold it to someone else.
The most important thing for all of you to know is that when you get food from this place it will be extremely tasty, flavorful, and something you will want to order again and you should.I have given it a two-star review because it will not actually affect the average reviews of this restaurant. I've done it to get the restaurants attention. That's why I set up front go ahead and order here you won't be disappointed.I know this is unrealistic but I would really like to see these star categories split into food, ordering, delivery, pick up. Those seem to be a lot of the issues people complain about but they only have the ability to ding the restaurant about stuff that might not be the restaurant's fault.I encourage everyone to feed back to whatever your review site is whether it's Yelp or Yahoo or Google or whatever to let them know that their categories of evaluation are not granular enough. However they can be very careless about listening to special orders like leaving things off or not cutting sandwiches when you specifically ask them not to. This is unfortunate because they make sandwiches very sloppily and they fall apart. It is not unusual to have one third of one of the pieces of bread not on the sandwich at all. That's annoying at least if they didn't cut it you could fix it but no they have to cut it. Then we get on to the order online it doesn't work. You call them and it wants you to use their app. Their app doesn't work. GrubHub does not offer their entire menu. And couldn't sign into chowhound. So my best advice is go there order in person get your food check it to make sure they didn't screw it up and if all of that works you'll probably be very satisfied with the food you get.I would like to add that we got Uncle Rico as offered and it was messily cut and made. Henry Hill as it was offered perfect. I can't find the name of the sandwich at the moment but it was the philly cheesesteak and I ordered no peppers plus mushrooms extra mayo and they got that right. Half of the sandwiches gooey but the other half was okay and the way it was wrapped I could eat it without extra napkins and entrenching tools and stuff. So ultimately it's caveat emptor but if you as the consumer take the time to check your order you should not be disappointed. They have never argued about fixing an order. And once you get what you expected you will be delighted.
First time here and was very impressed. Loved the decor and the menu is great. Sandwiches are named after iconic movies.. they have an extensive selection. Abigail at the front desk (where you order) was very nice and personable. Bartender was super nice as well. They have a nice beer selection. If you are in a hurry, you may want to go elsewhere. They take their time perfecting your order. We weren't in a hurry and knew it would be a minute. Sat on the patio and enjoyed each other's company, as one should. Life is too short to whine about where your food is.My daughter has been telling me about Zub's and it was a nice ending to our day at the Zoo. Will definitely revisit when I'm in the area.
A fun place to grab a sandwich & a beer. I'm not really someone who goes out to dance but we did stop in to "Thursday's" (the little dance area in back with a neon sign from the old Thursday's) and it was nice
EXCELLENT PIZZA! First time ordering here & we'll definitely order again! Plenty of toppings. We can't wait to try their other menu items!
They won't even start your order for 15+ minutes after you order it. People will come to order after you, and leave with their food before they will ever consider starting your order. A sandwich and fries takes 20 minutes minimum, when they rush it because they "forgot." That's a cold cuts sandwich, btw. Alternatively, you can go next door, have a pint and a burger in the time it takes them to read the order, and you don't have to worry about them. Free yourself and go elsewhere. When this happened to me they were not busy, btw.
They have decent food the employees are just lazy. You will get terrible customer service, no one to help you and you will wait an extremely long time for your food. I placed my order at 6:30 and went to pick it up at 7:15 and the kid said he just put my order in and it would be another 20 minutes. Over and hour for one sandwich ? On a Thursday? Wow. I could not wait anymore and did not get dinner today. Thanks mr zubs for wasting my time
Great pizza, good vibes and friendly patrons. I'll add more once I've had more food.
Ordered a decent amount of food 2 weeks ago and picked up in store. when I got home I realized they didn’t give me all my food. I wasn’t mad or anything just wanted a refund for the missing food. Gave them a call and left a message at the managers extension explaining the very thing and asking for a refund and call back. They never called me back or refunded me. Poor service. I’m ok with mistakes. It happens but the lack of service when something does go wrong is where I draw a line.
