We were blown away by the level of service at Lanning's. We have been wanting to visit for a while as we are new to town but they are always busy and its been hard to get a reservation. Food was amazing and Jabari took great care of us. Super cool vibe in the lounge and the owner was super helpful. We can't wait to come back. We had the special dry aged porterhouse and it was positively the best steak I've ever had.
This was our first time here. Went to celebrate a birthday. Servers were all great, starting with the valet out front, the greeter at the door, and our food server. Very polite, attentive and on top of it. Our server, Jade, was very knowledgeable about the menu! Food was great!

Great atmosphere, good crowd for a Monday night. Nice to get 1/2 off my bottle of wine with our meal. Had the lamb chops and the lobster, both cooked perfect. Manager AJ was very nice and welcoming when we arrived.
Good music in bar
Once again Lannings delivers on a great meal, great experience, and great service. If you have not eaten in the bar I would strongly recommend it. The bone-in filet was prepared perfectly, and everyone enjoyed their meal. Not too many fine dining establishments have the attention to detail, and owners that truly care about your entire experience and make sure you leave full and happy. Bethany and Dean are great to talk to and are passionate about checking all the boxes when you come in to dine with them, they are a large part of the experience as the food speaks for itself.
The service was very friendly from the hostess to the servers. We appreciated their recognition of our anniversary. Food and wine were excellent.
Excellent evening start to finish! We loved the wedge salad, had some great pork belly something or other appetizer, was delicious! Ordered a Caymus syrah which we didn't even know they had, so good!! Filets were perfect temp and butter cake melted in my mouth! Will be back!!
The waiter was too notch! Kept things moving without being pushy. The food was great and the owners stopped by all the tables. Lannings has been an Akron institution and lives up to the hype! One of the best meals in Akron!
Out to dinner with another couple we havenât seen for awhile. Expressed from the beginning we wanted to space out our meal and take our time. Ordered several appetizers, salads, dinner and desserts. Food was very good but toward the end of the meal we were basically pushed out the door. Apparently no lingering over cocktails allowed! It was the end of the night so no other tables were to be sat, 10p on a Friday night and the staff turns into pumpkins!
