This location's manager treats their employees very poorly and especially the ones with disabilities. Some people cannot drive and when they can't get a ride, they expect them to use a service like Uber to come in, even though that would cost more than they would be paid for coming in. (The pay at this location is almost minimum wage). They also expect people to come in when out on vacation if they get shorthanded, or they threaten to fire people. Terrible management!
Stopped in May 2, 2022 for some HOT delicious doughnuts before traveling to MD. The glaze and mixed dozens were spot on! Just like I remembered as a kid. However, I also ordered a dozen of the Cinnamon Toast Crunch doughnuts and paid almost 16 dollars for that dozen. Only to find halfway to home they were a few days old. They were so stale, not even heating them in a microwave would help. Had to throw out the whole dozen. The young lady who helped me was not friendly or welcoming, she never made eye contact or appeared to be polite she just wanted me out of the store.
Literally the worst Krispy Kreme in the nation. Apparently since they decided not to pay a living wage so they can attract workers which means that if you get here you'll be waiting up to a half hour to 45 minutes for your Donuts. Better enough they're taking advantage of poor people who need a job in Akron but they can't even provide enough staff to actually give you Donuts. Boycott this place until they actually start doing their job. Parent Corporation makes a lot of money they not only expect their employees to donate their lives to their bottom line they also apparently expect their customers to donate their time and effort to up to an hour wait at the drive-thru. Don't Go Near this place

We were underwhelmed by this Krispy Kreme store. We are huge Krispy Kreme fans and have been to over 15 stores nationwide & this one was the worst. Terrible customer service experience with the manager, Susan. They didn't have many donuts available for sale at 11 am and she assured us they would not make more except for original glazed because once they were sold out, they were sold out for the day. Not impressed.
Wasn't planning on stopping for doughnots, but saw an old school krispy kreme doughnut shop n had to stop! Theu were fresh and delicious! Had a regular glaze doughnut, it was hot, fresh and melted away in your mouth. It was awesome!
Doughnuts ice cold. Like they took them out the fridge. Its 8am no way they should be cold. And the guy at the window right now is very rude. These Doughnuts too expensive for all this.
I wish they would take that neon hot donut sign down or turn it off when there are no hot donuts... They are so good, and it's a huge let down when you wait in that ridiculous drive thru they have just for them to tell you the sign is wrong and they don't have any
Despite various places having staffing issues having to wait at the drive through for almost 30 minutes because it's taking each care almost 15 minutes to be taken care of fully is EXTREMELY UNACCEPTABLE. if you only have 1 person doing everything you just need to close. and if it is not just ONE person doing everything, which could be the only excuse for the extremely long wait then management really needs to look into why I've recently gone to other locations and it barely to 4 mins to place an order , receive it and was done. Do better
This location threatens to fire their employees with disabilities because they can't find a ride to work, and their only solution is suggesting to hire an Uber out of their own pocket, which would cost almost the whole day's wages. Terrible work ethics!
