Bought some of salmon and tuna sushi rolls togo yst and the seaweed turned out stuffy like this pic, tasted totally disgusting. It even smelled more fishy and fusty than the raw fish. Also the salmon had a very mushy texture. I tried to eat till the fifth piece, then I literally threw up everything.
Interactive dining makes for an interesting experience. Being very safety conscious I was a bit leery of cooking my own raw meats. I was really surprised because it's actually easier than it looks. I ate a variety of nice meats, vegetables, and noodles. Sushi is also available. I really enjoyed the hot tea with my meal.
This is a regular for us. Only take out so far. The sushi is about the best take out sushi I've ever had, and the butter fried rice is awesome!
Really nice and clean restaurant. Staff was friendly. I have never been to this type of restaurant and didn't understand what to get with the hot pot menu. I heard another diner explaining the menu to her friends who must have been new to here as well. It wasn't complicated but...? ? My daughter and I really liked our lunch and will definitely be back! Prices were very reasonable! This is a must try place!4/2022 Third time here and still liking it. My second visit I tried the hot pot for my first time and was really good.
The food is very fresh and made to order. The food was delicious. It's cheaper than grocery store, but fresh. Service from order to pickup was less than 10 minutes. I would go here over grocery store sushi anytime. Not much of a selection if your lunch partner doesn't like sushi. I was surprised how good it was for $7! The place is clean, modern and decorated nicely. I'll be a return customer. Fresh, quality, affordable.
This place was very confusing. It's a buffet /hotpot which makes it weird. I am used to just ordering and having the food brought to the table.The food is not bad but also not great. The shocking part was the bill. It was almost $40 a person. The only good thing was the sushi was all you can eat.
Very friendly and helpful during my first time experience eating there. You choose your soup or broth from the menu and grab a plate . You put everything you want in your broth on your plate to make your hot pot. It's pretty nice and the food was delicious ?
I have been here several times now and always had great food. The sushi is pretty standard for what you get in the area. The hot pot options are a great combination for this restaurant.The location is not the best. It's in a small strip with minimal parking behind the dying (dead?) Chapel Hill Mall. The inside is not very large. It seems clear that this place focuses more on takeout than dine-in. Alcohol is limited to beer - disappointing there is no sake.The prices are very reasonable for the neighborhood and the quality of the food is better than you would expect. This is a great place for quick, Japanese style takeout.
We've ordered takeout from here several times. Their sushi is great, and decently priced for sushi. Decided to try their dine in, and had the all you can eat hot pot and sushi. We will definitely do that again!Highly recommend!
I loved this dinner! It was very tasty and fun. The hot pot dinner special comes with excellent fresh made sushi. I will certainly be returning.
