The staff was mostly amazing and the food was good. Our fore caddy left a little to be desired. Couldn't read a putt to save his life. The North course didn't disappoint but the Championship Course was not in the best of shape. ClubCorp owns this now so not surprised. They had mowed and left grass everywhere. Clumps of it covered the cart path and in the rough and fareway. There was pollen all over every green. The course is the reason I came here. All they needed to do was blow the greens. Villas were fun and great place to stay.

It was beautiful! I was there for my granddaughters grad party and had an awesome time. The room was perfect, the staff was perfect and the food was really good. I would highly recommend for any event!!!

A group of 8 visiting from Dallas in early June. First, wow, the weather was super-mild, low 80's for highs. Very appealing contrast to low 100's in DFW. All three courses are terrific and in immaculate condition. Thank goodness because the greens fees are breathtaking -- starting at $260 pp + cart and going up for the South course. And really, the caddy program is simply ridiculous, $25 per player + a "recommended" gratuity of $150 per foresome. Yikes! South course is just tough 1-18; North course is fair and features significant elevation changes and lots of water hazards. Don't skip the Fazio course. Maybe the most intereresting of the three. If you stay on site, lodging is interesting. The Villas are great as long as you have a group of 8 and can reserve a complete villa. Otherwise, you share the "common area" with other guests. The lodging in the main clubhouse is strictly gentlemen only in rooms off the men's locker room. So....just saying...for a guys golf trip is would be AWESOME. The private bar in the men's locker room is open until 1:00am. What could possibly go wrong....Best part of the experience? The staff! They are invariably genuinly happy to see you and it shows. This one is definitely a bucket-list finalist for any serious golfer.

Still keeps the history and mystique alive with excellent sense of tradition, good service and food and an excellent championship course.

We had our wedding ceremony this past weekend at the Lodge at Firestone - let me tell you, it was INCREDIBLE! We worked with Diona Roberts on our wedding and she was seriously the sweetest, most helpful and amazing person ever. We loved working with her so much, we invited her to our reception because she was that awesome! She went above and beyond to make sure we loved every detail of the planning and everything for our day. We would recommend using Firestone (and of course Diona) for any event. The lodge was absolutely perfect for our ceremony and we have received so many compliments on it all as well. We also took our photos on the grounds and it was so perfect! If you are considering using Firestone -- DO IT!

Golf is fantastic. Great driving range. Pro shop is good. Carpeting needs replaced. Fore caddie was a HUGE disappointment... detracted from the golf. Raked traps sometimes. Saw your drive sometimes. Pulled the pin sometimes. Didn't even have a range finder on the second day.Accommodations are very dated. A dozen or so dead flies and a few lie ones in the window sill. It clearly hadn't been cleaned in quite a while.

Awesome location and great golf courses

Another fantastic weekend of great golf at 1 of the golf Meccas. Great staff from the front desk to the great caddies on the course.Already planning to come back next year. Thanks
