Food was great first time I’ve been here and I will definitely come back.
My wife and I decided to visit this spot for the first time on a Sunday (day before Valentine's Day) at around 11 am. We were seated quickly. Not the cleanest place, as others have said, but nothing egregious. Mimosa was delicious, coffee was standard fare but good. If you like being warm while you eat, maybe wait until a table opens up towards the back of the restaurant, because it gets chilly when patrons open that front door and that blast of winter air hits your legs. We left our coats on the whole time as did many others. Owner should consider installing an air curtain to fix this. Case in point, when I looked at their thermostat, it was set at 81, but showed a cool room temp of 69 degrees. Food took a while to arrive, but they were pretty busy. Our server was nice and did a good job. My wife's EO Breakfast Bowl with ham was good, with big pieces of potatoes that made for a fairly large portion. My Red Eye Hash included their delicious corned beef and spicy, but smaller portion of potatoes with green chiles. I'm a spicy foods fan, so, to me, the EO Bowl needed hot sauce (they had Tabasco and Cholula on the table - nice), but the hash was perfection as-is. We ended up ordering the blueberry pancakes to share at the end. They were nothing special, and the regular syrup that accompanied them did not come heated up. There is an option to choose real maple syrup for an upcharge. A warm, clean dining room and some warm syrup with less waiting would have made this a five star review. That said, we would definitely go again, and, as much as I'd like to try something new, the hash is probably what I'll be ordering. It was so good!
Went here a few weeks ago and nothing but great vibes. The breakfast was phenomenal! At peak times it does get pretty busy, but for a good reason. Everything was cooked to order, and the staff are friendly and on top of the service. I didn't have an empty glass unless I specifically mentioned, and they even offered a to-go as well, which many places do not do. I love this place. I live in Erie PA and my girlfriend lives a few blocks away from here. It is a must every time I'm in Akron visiting. The eggs benedict are the best ever!
I haven't been in some years and they still deliverd great food, service and drinks! That Blueberry Lemonade made me feel like it was summer!
First off, check your thermostat. If you can't read it because it's frosted over, TURN IT UP. There's no reason patrons should be shivering in your restaurant.Secondly, check the temp of your grill. Cold hash browns suck. Other than that, service was slow and inattentive and food was below average. Breakfast is not that hard folks.Maybe when hell freezes over, it will be the same temperature as your dining room, and I'll give you another try. Till then, no thank you.
Fantastic locally owned establishment. Food is delicious and locally sourced for many of the ingredients. Owner is one of the kindest people. Prices are extremely reasonable. Love eating here!
Food was amazing and so was the service! Our waiter was very attentive and friendly and we were beyond impressed with the food! We got the eggs Benedict and county fried steak ?we will definitely be back ?
Disgusting I had an omelette with spinach, peppers,onions and jumbo crab was watery and bland, biscuit was dry and over baked, toast was burnt, no butter in grits, potatoes were not good even the coffee was nasty my boyfriend asked for bacon on the side they cooked it in his omelette didn't ask if he wanted like that he clearly asked for on the side...customer service was okay the seating is very close together no one was wearing a mask but one waitress that brought our drinks..I don't think I will ever go back
Always a great place to eat and the service was excellent also.
