I have been all over on the search for the real deal, from Arizona all the way back to my home town of Akron Ohio and let me tell you, this is some of the best cheese steak that I've ever had! Seriously I am in love with this place after one try. Had the half size and it's incredibly filing. Delicious and fresh, great cook, great bread. The pickles in the side bar are superb. Really friendly staff, I'll definitely be coming back for more! Glad it's down the street from my place and it puts a smile on my face to see places like this staying busy. Solid 10/10 eats!
Easily one of the top downtown spots for Akron. Truly a hidden gem. Great prices, great taste.
By far the best cheesesteaks in Akron! The fries were amazing and the ketchup with a kick is now my favorite way to eat fries & ketchup. Too bad you weren't in Canton but then again it's probably better for me that way ?!
5+! Fresh and tasty food. Awesome people. Clean and comfortable atmosphere. And... THIS is what earned them BEYOND 5 stars... I lost something valuable when I threw our trash away and when I realized it, I went looking for it. Unfortunately, I didn't find it and wasn't about to empty the trash in the middle of people eating.. so I was taking the loss.To my surprise, after returning from scrubbing my hands in the restroom... They threw on some gloves and found my retainer! I nearly cried. Above and beyond!! The ladies of Eddies ROCK!
Finally made the right hours to get in here and try the menu. 5 star cheese steak and steak fries out of this world! Has been a long time coming, now I'm hooked. Can't say the others brands but they are OUT. No more questions asked this is my go to for comfort food if There was any other this is on the top of the very short list for me for this city. CLEAN CLEAN CLEAN and pretty great energy from Whitney a very kind and welcoming, beautiful spirit. Too bad can't say a thing kind words wise about the other female in there with the blue ends in her hair. Except TOTALLY OPPOSITE...... Sadly for a public persona.Anywho if you love a good hearty cheese steak Eddie's is your place.
First time trying Eddies cheesesteaks via their food truck. Let me start by saying I’m not from Philly. I don’t have an emotional attachment to cheesesteaks. BUT THIS SANDWICH… oh lawd….When I’m laying in bed next to my wife and I seem a bit distracted. She’s going to wonder if I’m thinking about another woman. What will I be thinking about? THIS SANDWICH.If I’m ever on death row. And they ask me what I want my last meal to be? THIS SANDWICH. (and the fries ?)Treat yourself when you’re in Akron to THIS SANDWICH. You won’t regret it.
been wanting to try for quite a while the food truck was at ignite brewery, went and got a cheese steak sandwich very good and fresh, highly recommend
Loves Eddie's Cheese Steaks. I love when I can catch them out somewhere at pop-up events, or when he does a pop up Saturday down at the store. The homemade ketchups are amazing. Not only is the food great its also nice to hang and talk with for a minute or two.
Best Philly cheese steaks in the Akron area! We stopped at the food truck with with mechanical issues they powered through and served their customers!
