This place is a Diamond in the rough!!!! My family and I was traveling from out of state and we found this place on Google. With all of the great reviews, we decided to try it. This place DID NOT disappoint. The sandwhiches and macaroni salad was beyond good. You won’t be disappointed with the food. The prices are extremely reasonable and the bonus…it’s family owned and I love supporting family owned businesses.
Haven't been here since I worked downtown well over 10 years ago and it's still just as good as I remembered it Fantastic food and efficient service even with a line out the door. Absolutely WONDERFUL!!
My daughter and I had lunch at the deli. The young men are very kind and polite. The sandwiches are served fresh and delicious. The line moves quickly!
Me and a friend were passing through Akron around lunchtime and we were fortunate to stop in to this gem. It was very busy but the staff handled the rush hour very well. The grilled sandwiches were excellent and made with care. There were large portions. We were stuffed when we left. The workers were very pleasant. The restaurant is very small but accommodated the large crowd. It seemed that some of the customers ordered and left and others stayed. There are booths and small tables. We enjoyed our lunch and would stop back if we are back in the area.
I just had the best sandwich I have ever eaten in my life! My wife has been nagging me to try this place for years. It's a small hole in the wall type of place with amazing customer service. These guys would become a national brand if they expanded to other viable locations!
What a wonderful gem in Akron. Had the Sue’s “I’m not like my mom” sandwich and it was very tasty. The service was quick and the staff was friendly. Look forward to going back to try other sandwiches ?!

Wow Diamond Deli sandwiches are amazing! I work down the street and try to go as often as I can. I have tried a few of their Sandwiches, all of which are creatively named and tate excellent. My favorite so far is the Cuban but I have plenty more to try. I recommend Diamond Deli to anyone who is craving a quality Sandwich and a good price!
Never been to Akron wasn't downtown working today. I hit up this deli and it was quite a gem. I knew since I had a little bit of a line coming in the door it must be good it was excellent. I'm a chicken salad fan they're chicken salad is right there up top. Carrot cake was outstanding.I would most definitely go back.
Food is delicious. I love the name of the sandwiches. Wish they had more seating when the line is out the door! Faaaaaaantastic, will return!
