1st time and last time.I ordered a small pepperoni pizza for my kids, 2 and 3. The guys were great and the pizza was good as well. I sat on their patio to feed my kids. The wind was blowing and half of my pizza fell on the ground in front of their couch.I spoke to Nate and I showed him that half my pizza fell. He said he was sorry and he couldn't do anything. I asked for the manager and he claimed to be the manager and said it's not his job to watch my pizza and that it wasn't his fault. I never faulted him but it would have been nice to offer a solution to the problem instead of being rude. I picked up the pizza of the ground, grabbed my kids and left. I guess anyone can be a manager nowadays. NATE really should find a different career.
DeCheco’s Pizza is definitely one of the top pizza places in the entire Akron area. To date I have ordered: cheese pizza, buffalo chicken pizza, New Yorker, spicy heat lovers, Nashville hot, and Philly cheesesteak.They haven’t been off mark a single time. Pizza is always delicious. The traditional crust is thick and toppings go to the edge. Perfect amount of crisp. You can tell the ingredients are fresh.The buffalo chicken pizza is unique offering a blue cheese sauce. This was actually super good.The New Yorker has one of the best flavors I’ve ever had. You can taste everything and it combines so well.The Nashville hot: I’ve had similar pizzas, but none that actually hit the mark.The others are just as good. In this area, if you are a Luigi’s fan then you will also like DeCheco’s. I can’t wait to order again.*this is not a paid review.
So I go here a lot and this was the worst experience. First they shrunk their pizza and kept it at the same price horrible. They horrible part of this is I ordered good for a birthday party and I didn't have enough food. The pizza was ok but the chicken was a disappointment. The chicken was greasy and soggy like it had been sitting for hours. Some if it at light spots on like it was not completely cooked. I ordered at 4 45 and it said to pick up at 5 09 my spouse left to pick it up at that time and we only live like 6 min away he brought the food right back and this is what it looked like please see pictures. So I was so upset that I called to speak to a manager and all he had was excuses so I since he didn't want to fix the problem I told him I will never be back and I will take my business elsewhere. This is what I get for spending $89
I've been a customer since the first day they opened. The pizza has always been great. Today I was not pleased. We ordered our 2 pizzas that we always order and a large Jojo. One pizza was wrong, I called only to be told they'd give me a 10.00 credit on the 21.00 pizza I ordered or I could drive back to the shop which is 20 minutes away to get another one. That isn't exceptable. I've been a loyal customer for 29 or 30 years. I've never complained and to be treated like I was pulling the wool over their eyes is shameful. They treated me very badly. I love their pizza but they won't treat me like that.
Nick at your location on Main Street in Akron, is an amazing employee! Always helpful, smiling and definitely remembers peoples orders.Love coming to your location for the great customer service!! Never been disappointed and their Nathans sauce is fabulous!!!
I have tried Dechechos one other time. This time I really enjoyed the pizza! The Pepperoni and Pineapple pizza was very delicious!
They have spruced the place up over the last year and unlike most places lately their quality has improved. What was always good pizza is now always great!

I placed a pickup order for one $20 pizza that needed to be cancelled ( I called them to cancel about 10 min after placing the order). The “manager” swore at me and refused to give the owner’s name when I asked, saying he wouldn’t want to be bothered. He said the pizza was done already and I had to come and get it, he couldn’t cancel it. How was the pizza done already? When I ordered he said 20-30 min and now it’s magically done in 10 min? I don’t think so. Worst customer service experience probably ever.
