I heard about Dano’s about a month ago. Today my wife and I were in the area and decided to try it out. The patio and inside were both very busy but we were able to get a table in about 5 minutes. Not sure how Dano’s does it, but there is no shortage of servers, bartenders or kitchen help. We were waited on immediately. Drinks and food came out in Pre-Covid time! Food was very good and service was excellent. Will definitely be back.
If you stop at one place to eat while at Portage Lakes. NEVER a bad experience.
We didn’t get to eat here we just stopped by with friends while in town because they wanted us to see it.How beautiful!!! We will come back when we visit!
Took away one star because the burger patties were small, dry and bland. Had they buttered and fried the bun a bit or.something, the flavor would've been so much better. It was just lacking. Adding to that the generic branded ketchup that had poor flavor, the food was mediocre at best. We did enjoy the atmosphere and sitting outside by the lake!
Great place to have a burger outside and enjoy the lake and watch the boats race up and down the water. Has docks their to park your boat. Kid friendly.
Most friendly place on the lakes! Food and drinks are great. Weekly pork chop or prime rib dinners are special, can't lose!. Dano is the hardest working owner on plx.
It's a great lakeside pub. I had the prime rib special. It was very tasty and cooked to my liking. Service was excellent. The owner was out greeting the guest and bussing table's. You don't see that kind of service much anymore. The entertainer had a good voice that fit his song selection. It was a great experience.
It's great. February on the ice was great! Memorial day was even better.
Went here for a 21st. Birthday family celebration Danos is awesome the whole family had a great time,played cornhole listened to some great live music and the food and drinks were awesome. Really enjoyed the fact that it's right on the water and will definitely be taking the boat over for a nice lunch this summer Welldone Danos???
