The service is friendly, helpful, and the scones are particularly good. My godchildren love their cakes for their birthday and cinnamon rolls for a special treat.

We’ve been ordering our cakes from our local bakery since our now 7-yr old’s first birthday. Without fail multiple party guests inquire about where we order from because the icing is light and delicious without being the typical hurt-your-teeth sweet of other bakeries. Absolutely recommend this quaint little spot and plan to continue ordering from The Bake Shop in Ghent for our family birthdays for years to come!

I had the Bake Shop create my wedding cake and it was so beautiful and absolutely delicious! We got lemon cake with strawberry filling and it was so moist and the fruit tasted so fresh. Everyone at my wedding commented on how yummy our cake was and they really made it look exactly like the pictures I provided. They worked alongside my florist to make my wedding cake dreams come true. Also their cake icing is the best ever and if you needed only one reason to ever buy a cake from the Bake Shop, do it for the icing ;)
