Great place for family gatherings.
This was my first time at The Starving Rooster, though my daughter and son-in-law have been bragging it up for quite some time. Fantastic! There were no exaggerations. The food and drinks were fantastic. This is the best brunch I've had in Minot.
Atmosphere was laid back and bar service was great. The Triple Gear pizza did not disappoint.
Went there for lunch with my mother. Food was great but our server, Andrew is a gem! Huge shoutout to an amazing staff. The atmosphere is so positively energetic. Highly recommend the Cuban sandwich, Bruschetta and the Buffalo Chicken Pizza! ?

The starving rooster with all it's good reviews brought me here while on business and it was worth it. I had the TSR NA (non alcoholic) strawberry cream soda, and despite this place being primarily known as a pizza restaurant, I decided to order the open fire roasted steak stroganoff that came with a salad of your choice, I chose the house salad that came with ranch in a chilled cup as to keep the dressing cool.Everything orderd is pictured.
My wife and I were visiting Minot and stopped here on the advice of a local friend. We had a pizza and a flat bread. Both were excellent. The pizza crust was amazingly crispy yet chewy at the same time. Great recommendation by our server on the Thai Flatbread. Rustic, cozy atmosphere and a very nice tap selection. The service was helpful, friendly and attentive. I would definitely visit again! And highly recommend.
We came here for a small dinner. We ordered a glass of wine, and they were pretty stingy with the amount. They barely fill it up to 1/3 of the wine glass. Another problem was that there were like 4 different people checking up on us. We were confuse which one was our waiter/waitress. I think the people just need to let the assigned waiter/waitress deal with their table. Too many people checking on a single table leads to confusion and interruption to the flow of conversations of the table. Aside from those issues, I had no problem with their food.
Breakfast was amazing! And the customer service was even better. Highly recommended.
