Me and my husband just visited here for the first time. The food was stunning!I had Grandma's French Toast ( blueberries flavor) + sausage patties. The service was great too.We will for sure come back to try something else.
Came here with a group of 7. The staff was so sweet and patient with us even though we were definitely a little loud. (We work nightshifts and came in right after a 9 hour shift so we were a little delirious) The food, absolutely amazing and reminded me of the southern breakfasts I'm used to. If we ever come back to ND, Kroll's will be the first place we stop!

This visit started with ordering a cup of the chicken and rice soup, which had a very sour taste to it , I immediately sent it back . That’s when things got worse. Usually have a good experience here since my girlfriend and myself have been coming here for over 6 years . We both ordered a breakfast with lightly basted eggs , usually perfect , this day they were the consistency of being hard boiled . To be blunt about it both our meals were cold and I asked them to recook it . About a few min later a cook came out from the back and told me that food was comped and I could leave . I went to the front to talk to the cook to find out what the issue was . Without mentioning names , he started to become hostile and trying to raise his voice, not only was this unprofessional but also made people look in discuss . Then to add fuel to the fire he stated if we don’t leave he will call the cops. This is definitely one of the most ignorant examples of professionalism I have ever encountered while coming to this place. So much for local customer loyalty . If it wasn’t for the people in this community keeping these small establishments afloat during the Covid height , they would have closed there doors . Thanks for the appreciation.
Probably my favorite place to eat. The staff is always friendly, food is pretty good, portions are generous and prices are average. I'm partial to the breakfast, but burgers and wraps are also very good
New to North Dakota and was introduced to this place by my significant other. Not disappointed, the atmosphere is great with a very vintage classic American diner feel, and the prices are great too! Way better than ihop or denny's l, we will be back and i recommend this place to anybody. Service was prompt and friendly too!
Absolutely wonderful dining experience! Great atmosphere, friendly staff and awesome food! Will definitely be returning in the future!
Did not see this one coming! It's the mid west version of waffle house and just as good. So glad I found this place. Omelettes are awesome and the french toast though...

Very disappointed my food was half the portion and looked like someone already ate off my plate, waitress never came back to check on us . When asked how our food was explained and only got a opps sorry. Every time we come to minot always eat here first bad experience usually food and service are great. We will go back but left today still hungry very disappointed, went back later in the week breakfast was great and the service. Just disappointed the waitress on Sunday didn’t take better care of us just made comment sorry to here it was bad
