This review is overdue...Overall The Pepper 'was' good. Just like every alum from UND we all come back and we want The Pepper! However, the last few times in the last few years the service has decreased and the bread was changed for the worst. Loved the grinder bread you guys used to have before 2014. It used to be flat and tasty. Now the bread is thick and food portions are so much less.At one point and time I was even going to purchase your FedEx service to be deliver to my door! Sadly, the money I was going to pay for just bread was not worth it to me. What happened Pepper? Did you guys change management? What is the reason you had to change the great bread to what you have now? Help me and others understand your reasoning?
Ordered tacos at drive through all were cold. Very disappointed as they usually serve a good product.
Horrible ServicePlaced a Door Dash order at 6:30, received confirmation that the order was being made. At 7:38 I received notification that the order was cancelled. Called the store, the wonderful worker informed me they close at 8pm so they cancelled the order. Garbage.
Always great food since the 1970s. Love Red Pepper. I have to go there everytime I fly back from AZ to visit .
Of the three locations, this one rocked but my favorite would have to be RedPep East. They've all got their own subtle differences and honestly the hole in the wall spot on the Eastside just takes me back down memory lane when my brother and I used to stop as we passed through town. You're gonna want to stock pile the HANDS DOWN BEST tacos-grinders-schnieders-zeps-tostadas-taco burgers on this planet. Heres a little pro-tip- WHITE SAUCE ON EVERYTHING GUYS!
The chicken tortilla soup was very good, had soft shell tacos, they were OK.
I had my very first grinder today it was amazing! The bread was fantastic , and the dude that served it up was Great! Get that white sauce too. I would go back in a flash! Don’t be a chump go eat here!!
It may not be the OG Red Pepper, but it is just as delicious. Don't let people make you drive down to the other one for the same quality of food! If you're only stopping by Grand Forks, grab a grinder with taco meat! Absolutely amazing.
These guys always aim to please. The chip sauce never disappoints!
