Tuesday's hamburgers are buy one get one free. Great deal. Hamburgers were good, served with fries. I don't think I'd want to pay $14 for what I got but I gladly paid $7 for what I got. Love the basket of popcorn served at every table. Service was good
We shared a fajita dinner - it was enough for the two of us. Nothing special. Our friends had sandwiches. Nothing special. I would say the food was mediocre at best.
Burger was kind of small, barely a step above fast food. Frozen party I'm sure. Must be a fry shortage. Server clearly new and slow, should have had more training. We were not checked up on, had to wait a long time to pay. TVs will hit you in the head if you're over 6 foot, lights too. Is this a restaurant for midgets who don't eat much?
We took our kids for lunch when they were down from Canada. They have redone the inside and reduced the menu, but the favourites were still there. 2 samplers, 1 chopped steak, 2 orders of chicken (boneless). They were all very good. Service was fine and we noticed that we got free refills on all drinks, which was nice. I like the cleaner lines of the new decor and the reduced menu was fine, with lots of choices, but I kind of miss the old Ground Round. There was just something lacking. We will probably go back, but not for quite a while. Prices were very good.
Used to take the family to Ground Round, years back. Our granddaughter suggested we go yesterday for dinner. Outside of some rather bland remodeling in half of the place, little has changed. The hostess was deadpan, no smiles, indifferent. Thank goodness the waitstaff outdid theirselves to make us welcome! The wait time for our order was longer than expected, and the food...well, a cheeseburger that was very dry, accompanied by fries that could have been adequate had the fryer oil been changed recently. A chicken salad for one of the ladies with me and cheese macaroni and chicken ended up only half eaten: cold chicken, gooey macaroni? Eleven dollars for a burger and fries? The three of us and the bill came to near sixty dollars, before the tip. Disappointing.
The booth was tight to the table, poor design. Ok moving on server did well. But food was average to just laying the love.The focus on hot over seasoning was a disappointment. My steak tips were chewy like rubbery , the BBQ sauce was a little to spicy (I like good steak). The other steak was peppery hot but more tender. The other two plates were good.This was I felt sub standard to the quality of food I have had at the minot nd. location. Hopefully my critique made it to the back.Perhaps it was a off night, just my 1st experience at this location hope next time is better.
Nice to have popcorn as a free appetizer. The food is solid and they have a great drink selection. The jambalaya was a nice surprise.
Food is great... waiter and bartender left something to be desired. No birthday songs or specials available.
Food was awesome, great lunch with a former co-worker that I've not seen in person since Covid-19 hit. We will be back!
