After a long and arduous previous day, this breakfast joint started my new day with lots of joy! It's the 2nd day of my visit to Grand Forks and I was extremely happy with my visit here.The location could use some TLC with the exterior but don't let that fool you from discovering its charm inside. It has a 70s or 80s style feeling to it. But, everything is clean and orderly. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and attentive.Our food arrived pretty quickly and was spot on. I felt like I was transported back home to one of my favorite low tempo breakfast spots. If I lived here, I'd likely be at Gramma's several times, monthly. Easily. I'd also bring all my friends here.This gem needs to be vastly more popular.
I was referred to try this place by one of my client's customers, after bragging about how good Darcy's French toast was. Unfortunately this place has nothing on Darcy's French toast (or hashbrowns), BUT the atmosphere inside is a lot more inviting than Darcy, that's for sure. Also, the service was more friendly, prompt, and knowledgable, in comparison to the other place. For that, I give 4-stars! I would definitely recommend this place for breakfast!! ??
The hostess VERY HOT she seated us very fast and made it a enjoyable experience visually and physically bonus the food was incredible definitely will be back ;)
Four to five tables seated after us received service before we did. I know the server is busy, but apparently we don't look like nice people. Just the way it goes I guess. But no, we won't be back.
Great place for breakfast. I've always had great food and service here. It does get busy at times, but you can still get your food in an orderly manner.
We’re new to town and decided to try our first restaurant for breakfast.Food and Service was lacking. Didn’t like the vibe and didn’t feel welcomed. Also the pancakes were so tough I had to use a knife. Disappointed

We always have the best meals at Grama Butterwicks. My boys love it. Service is amazing and fast, hot, and delicious meals!
Such a Grand Forks gem! The prices were amazing but a little confusing (eggs, hash browns, bacon, and 2 pancakes or eggs, hash browns, bacon, and all u can eat pancakes for the same price????) either way it’s a home town feel with great prices and even greater waitresses
Wow what a find. I'm visiting from nc and happened upon this place for breakfast. I was amazed how much food I could get at such a reasonable price. Eggs and bacon were high quality.
