Surprised to find this gem in Grand Forks, ND. The experience, quality and authentic taste was unexpected! We had the freshly made, table-side guacamole and churros. Our drinks were perfect! And those dishes were phenomenal. Our waitress was so friendly! I am from California and am Mexican so it was nice to have a taste of home while visiting North Dakota!
First time going and it was more than I expected. The service was friendly and always checking on people. The presentation of the food was spot on, as you eat with your eyes first. Food came out extremely quick and hot. Had to experience the guacamole being made at our table. The chorrizo street tacos and the special tamales are the best we've ever had. The young lady was happy and it was delicious. It is a little expensive, but for home made food and a real taste of Mexico, it was worth it. We now have 2 good authentic Mexican restaurants in Grand Forks, Charras and El Gordito.
This was more about the experience! Table side guacamole! ? The fish tacos ? ?... sorry, I was chewing! The fish tacos are delicious!! Desert was something to be excited about too. I definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for an authentic experience.
Undoubtedly the best restaurant in Grand Forks. Has a variety of authentic Mexican food options with some interesting alcohol choices too! Food was literally served faster than a fast food restaurant.
service was prompt and courteous. It was quite busy but we still got seated quickly, and I couldn't believe how fast our food was served! The food was absolutely delicious

Really good food and service, much better than one could hope for and it would still be delicious in a city ten times the size of Grand Forks. Conveniently located right off of Interstate 29 too. The place was exceptionally clean too.
Having heard all the positive comments about this restaurant, we finally were able to try it for ourselves. We were not disappointed!The food and drinks were fabulous, the staff and service were exceptional! Everyone was so friendly and accommodating!Our server, Freyo, was attentive and so personable, I wish he could have joined us at our table! We were seated right by the bar, which allowed us to chat with Frank, (bartender), Again, very personable and friendly!Atmosphere is great, food / drinks are amazing, staff is fantastic!The only drawback was when we got inside, the music was extremely loud - it was quickly remedied upon request, which only shows how much they care about your experience.If you haven’t been here yet….I highly recommend it! We will definitely be back!
