Short Version: Waste of money & time @ this location.Long version: Walked in today at about 8:00pm. They close at 9 so although they may be annoyed and want to close, service needs to stay on top.I was with one other person & we each ordered a quesadilla & a smoothie.We immediately walked into a younger girl sitting on a chair on her phone (seemed to be eating something at the front counter). She saw us and got up and walked to the back. A younger guy came up to take our order. No greeting or smile or anything of the sort. Not helpful with order questions. In the middle of us ordering he walked over to a different younger girl just sitting on a chair and started his own conversation.Overall attitude with workers.Smoothie mediocre & Nothing special about quesadilla.Do not recommend.
The staff was very polite and it was nice and cool inside, but the drink I had wasn't the greatest.I got a strawberry banana smoothie and a Baja chicken wrap. there wasn't much taste to the smoothie and it could have had a bit more sugar in it, but it was very big and the amount that you get is worth the money you pay. as for the wrap, I made the mistake of not reading the menu closely enough before ordering my food and didn't realize that there would be avocado on the wrap (which I'm not a fan of at all), but even with the avocado it was still amazing! it was cooked perfectly and was just the right size for a late-afternoon snack.overall it was a decent experience, and I will be back for food, but not for another smoothie.

Wow, what is with these kids that work at these places now? You could be the nicest customer in the world and they still are full of attitude and seem unpleased.I came here for lunch with my boyfriend and the short guy with glasses and a mustache in the front had so much attitude and seemed like he hated working there. He had to change my order cause they didn't have passion fruit for the smoothie, and so we ordered another smoothie, and he was super irritated he needed to change the order cause the new smoothie we ordered was 20 cents cheaper.The staff in the back was full of sarcasm and you could tell all of them were annoyed. Wouldn't come here again. I'll try the other tropical smoothie on 45th, or maybe go to a different shop.
My partner and I ordered from Tropical Smoothie tonight and we’re incredibly disappointed. I ordered a salad and none of the toppings that were listed were on it, and it came without dressing. My partner got the jalapeño corn and the contents barely even covered the bottom of the container provided. The sweet potatoes were supposed to have a Maple glaze were undercooked and had nothing on them. The only thing correct we’re the smoothies, which weren’t even that great.
This used to be one of my favorite places. My son and I loved going here. Unfortunately, the last several visits I’ve been left disappointed. I’ve continued to go because I love the food and smoothies, but I won’t be frequenting anymore. If there’s an issue with an order, they will not rectify it. You’re required to contact corporate. Which isn’t necessary half the time. When placing an online order they don’t call if they’re out of ingredients. When you arrive, they won’t refund your money. If you only have rice, ranch, and beans available.. call the customer, and confirm the order with them. ? I’m so sad about this. My last wrap with cold… they didn’t even bother to warm up any of the ingredients. I didn’t even bother calling.. because it doesn’t matter.Don’t waste your money.
Not bad. Somewhat pricey. That being said, the drinks are delicious. They use whole pieces of fruit!
I went to the tropical smoothie store on 25th street they were busy with online orders the girl that took my order didn't really seem to care too much she kept on messing up on my order but I made sure by the time the transaction was over that she got it right she couldn't manage the credit card machine because she wasn't pushing the right button. The rest of the crew were in the back gossiping about one another and didn't even really care to wipe down tables that were dirty and pick up garbage around the store they were busy making the online orders which is okay and understandable but also one of them could have been cleaning up as well maybe I'll go to another store next time if there is a next time.
