This was my first time here and I went around 8:40 p.m. the cashier guy through the order window was patient with me as I tried to get familiar with their menu. My son's love Taco John's and I needed to get them some dinner and figured I'd try this place out.I spotted the six pack and a pound special and remembered my son's liked that, and purchased it. I wasn't sure what I wanted and the cashier mentioned that it was steak Thursday or something like that and I ordered the special that he mentioned. Cost about $16 for my food and son's food. Food order came fast and well prepared. I feel that the value for the money was good.My taco and burrito were on a whole new playing field of flavor and ingredients. Out of familiarity, I tend to go to Taco Bell and not try other taco type fast foods. But should you compare the two, Taco John's is top notch for taste, value, customer service. Taco John's delicious food felt like I was eating authentic Mexican food. I highly recommend this Taco John's. I didn't go inside the store since they were closed inside but drive-thru was open. I appreciate the staff for being patient with me and making my first experience a good one. Thank you!
This Taco John's has really gone down hill. I thought I'd give them the benefit of the doubt if they were short handed but the day I came through they had ample people just standing around looking at their phones. This wouldn't be a problem had they been getting food out in a timely manner but that wasn't the case either. To top it off they made my meal wrong, it was just gross and the potato oles seemed like they'd been sitting there all day. I'm very sad about this because this use to be one of the best Taco John's in the area in my opinion and now they're definitely the worst. I hope they turn things around before it gets shut down.
I’m from out of town and remembered eating here the last time I was in town. My brother and I went through the drive thru. The gentleman that took my order was nice. Got 2 soft shell tacos meals. Drive up to the window, got the food VERY quickly. Drive away from the window and park in the parking lot. I went to eat one of the tacos within a couple minutes and it was ice cold. Went back to let them know the tacos were cold and one of the staff members accused me of lying saying he doesn’t remember waiting on me. He was not the one that did, it was another guy who was at the time of my return outside taking a break, I would assume. I had my receipt, I had the cold tacos, yet this particular staff member closed the window in my face, not caring that I could prove I was just there. They replaced the cold tacos and the lady who gave them to me was extremely rude! I have never been treated like this, I am shocked! Before accusing someone of lying look at all the facts! I will NEVER go to this location again and I will definitely not recommend it.
Food was cold I ordered a super large nachos and no salt olaes as to everyone know they oversalt the potatoes and once I got the food I realized I didn't have a fork a napkin or any sauce the rude dopehead at the window act as if I was asking for too much never again and this happened around 2:15pm on 5/12/22... Oh and the potatoes was still salted ?
I ordered the chicken street tacos. They were delicious!! To be honest, I don’t know if there was cheese on them or not but it doesn’t matter. I thoroughly enjoyed them and I will definitely be back.
We were in the drive up and placed our order. Drove away (my husband was driving) and I opened the bag to discover the cheese had melted the cup, so cheese was melted all over the bag and one of his tacos wasn't wrapped and spilled all over the bag.We were in a hurry, and so when we went back, of course the lobby isn't open, and the woman working (who said she was the manager) was screaming and hollering at us because "there's no way they would do that!" She grabbed the bag from my husband and stormed inside the restaurant screaming the entire way that "she doesn't need to deal with us".I tried to contact a manager/owner of the restaurant to no avail, however, a very nice and professional gentlemen at the 10th St location named Chad suggested I leave this review and call the corporate office tomorrow, which I will do. Now 30 minutes later, we are still in line. Late for our appointment so we can get our money back and be SCREAMED at.I have little confidence someone in management will try to reach out, but this is utterly ridiculous.
Just went there and had a gift card from vanilla gift, they told me it was declined so I left to go home and check my balance which I did before I went there and it had 34.65$ in it, anyways I go home check it and it’s at zero with 33.09 taken out of it and another charge of 1.56 which drained me completely!
1st off the night, Manger needs a raise. I have never seen a smoother operation.I ordered a chicken taco, and they had to make fresh ones. I was informed it would be a 4 minute wait. I said no problem and continued with my order. The communication was excellent.Night manager oplogized for the wait personally and let me know next time I came she would have chicken tacos ready.I saw Employees cleaning, and after I ordered through the drive thru I went inside and the place was spotless.
Wont go here again, place according to website was to close at 10, I got to drive thru at 949, waited 3 minutes, no response. Backed up and pulled to ftont door at 952, then they turned all the lights off. Wont be going back there again
Hot and fast. Unfortunately somewhat careless; top wasn't all the way on my nacho cheese, spilled it in my lap removing it from the bag. No napkins in the bag to clean up either, fortunately a fee spares in my truck.
