I ordered online and got a reply email that said my order was taken and I should wait for a confirmation email for pickup time. 40 minutes later I called and called because they kept hanging up on me to finally get an employee that tells me they aren’t doing online orders because they are short staffed. Used to be one of my favorite places to go but now I won’t be back. They could of posted something on their website that said so instead of wasting my time!

This is a local favorite of mine but this location fairly new. The restaurant is large and tonight maybe due to bad weather out not crowded. The server was so friendly and welcoming. We ordered a flight of tacos and shared then we had a very delicious fried ice cream dessert. The restaurant was very clean and comfortable. It's a big place and you could easily eat with a large group here.
1pm on 4/2/22. Waited over 15 minutes in the bar to even get acknowledge. Finally, the server came over and gave us chips and salsa and left and didn't say anything. Waited another 5-10 minutes for her to ask what we wanted to drink and I made sure to order right away otherwise we would be waiting even longer. Ordered cheese enchilada with rice and beans. Got burnt rice and beans and a CHICKEN enchilada. I don't eat meat, so my lunch was ruined. Also, never got checked up on for refills or anything. Server didn't seem happy to be there. Big waste for around $40.
It had been quite some time since I had visited Mexican Village. The south Fargo location is beautiful. Very spacious. Clean. Great and friendly service. New menus. I had my favorite supreme buritto and it was so good. Love the chops and salsa too. Would highly recommend. I will definitely visit in the future!
If you like an order that’s wrong and ice cold this is the place for you. I ordered through GrubHub and called Mexican Village to tell them that my order was ice cold and not as I ordered. They absolutely refused to do anything for me even after they knew it had sat there for 45 minutes before the driver picked it up. A simple, oh we’re sorry for that what can we do to help, would’ve been nice but you don’t get that at this place.
The bartender seems to be the only one who works, I could see the wait staff hanging out behind the bar and talking. Had my server and the manager see that my drink was empty multiple times and not say a word. Prices are high, $7 for a basic soft shell taco that you can get at Taco Johns is ridiculous.

Went there to eat dinner on Saturday night. Normally this is a great restaurant with great food but that was not our experience last night at all. It was so cold in there that three of us kept our jackets on and at one point I had to use mine to cover my legs. Our waitress was less than attentive and at one point came up missing for about 20 straight minutes. The food itself was pretty good but it came out lukewarm and it was so cold where we were sitting that within minutes we were eating cold food. We ended up getting to go boxes for our food because my wife and I each ate about five bites and it was too cold to enjoy after that. We paid more than $75 last night for an almost completely unenjoyable experience. We even joked to the waitress at one point that she should start a fire next to our table to warm us up.
My husband and I have gone to this restaurant before and found the food to be very good, so our last trip to Fargo, we ordered delivery to our hotel. We ordered the 4 item combos with seafood enchiladas, beef enchiladas, and chili relenos. I have to say that we were very disappointed! The lettuce was slimy and brown, the so-called salsa was just tomato sauce. The only "seafood" in the enchiladas was imitation crab, and there was more rice than fake crab inside. The chili releno had just a very small slice of the chili pepper, rest was just cheese. The rice & beans were very dry, and the whole experience was very bland and just overall not good. We brought this up with the manager Hayley, and she told us that because we didn't live in Fargo, she would issue a refund back onto our card. This was from November 18th, 21, and still no refund. Not happy!!! I would call back again, but hate to spend long distance charges again for nothing.
