Had fish in a bowl of very hot and spicy oil. It was terrific. Chatted with the cook about the type of very tender and white fish. Had to Google to find what it was... possibly from the Mekong River. Restaurant was huge with a water feature... but empty. Very busy takeout business however. Need to return to get that fish bowl again.
We ordered big and the food was delicious. The restaurant wasn't crowded at all. We ordered three dishes shared then and had leftovers. We also had a plate of kimchi. We ate up all the kimchi though first and no leftover kimchi. The restaurant inside decor nice for being inside a strip mall. However light bulb above us kept flashing on and off needed replacement. The food came out really hot temperature. Really we ordered one spicy dish --- garlic broccoli. We also drank hot tea. The pouring pot for tea was nice with bamboo handle. There was a lot of vegetables and cut large in each dish and much seafood in the Singapore noodle dish. I definitely can taste why this place is a local favorite and will hopefully go back there soon.
Had supper here recently. The food was hot and fresh, very good meal. The service was fast.I had the Beef with garlic sauce. It was so good. I recommend that to any one.Another choice is the chicken lo mein. Very good.
I ordered two combination platters for delivery. I ordered chicken fried rice with them. I'm never seen anything like it! It was questionable fried rice with1 1/2" x 2" pieces of boiled chicken stuck in the sides of the rice. It was gross! I picked them out and threw them away. They didn't even smell good. I ordered Orange Chicken and Sweet & Sour Chucken. The breading was so thick on the Sweet/Sour Chicken, that I peeled it away to see if there was chicken in it. This was a terrible meal and cost a lot! I'll never utilize Lucy's Chinese Restaurant again!
Worst Chinese food in Fargo. No flavor, No soul, No effort. Meat (Chicken, Beef, Pork, Shrimp) all cooked in a way that gave it this disgusting gelatinous texture and absolutely zero flavor. Maybe cooked in a dishwasher?. This place used to be average but recently has dropped beyond subpar into a category of it's own a category that would best be titled "Stay Away". 0 out of 10. DO NOT GO HERE
There Food was so Good!!!!!!! The Soup was melt in your mouth. THE Chicken had a light buttery layer and amazing flavor
I'm sorry to Lucy's for saying this, but I had to turn around and walk out on my last visit for one reason...the smell. For some reason it smelled like strongly of rotten eggs the day I went in there. Not to mention it was poorly lit and there were no customers eating in there. Just a really creepy vibe. 2 stars because I have had good food in the past there.
Friendly staff, authentic cuisine, family friendly, fast service.
2/5 pork wonton is Crispy with great flavor but couldn’t taste the pork. The pork lo main is good, great flavor and large helping and soupy. Pork is plenty 4/5. The fried rice is very mild almost lacking in flavor 1/5 Little veggies. The egg roll was good. It tastes better then Panda Express and was fresh 3/5. Great costumer service and price!
I ordered Take-out. The staff was friendly. No complaints on the front of house. However, the food was horrible.Bland, gelatinous, and undercooked, I am not sure what meat they used for the Fried Wontons and the Pork and Chive Dumplings. If it is actually Pork then I would be surprised. It was a bright pink, foamy texture and resembled something out of the movie "The Blob".Seasonings for the entire plate was basically soy and sugar. I wonder what happened to the salt and pepper or basic cooking techniques, so much was underdone or overdone I wonder if any of it is expired or recycled from previous days. I don't want to even ask what the deep freezer looks like in there.?In conclusion,I feel there are much better Chinese-American restaurants in the area to spend your money at. I personally would not be returning to this one. I'm not sure why others are calling this place "authentic" or "quality" when the menu proves to many others that it is far from it.
