Have ate here many times previously, but tonight was total disappointment! Burger was half missing! Happy meal at McDonalds has more beef!! Asked for a slice of onion and got 3 little slivers that I was charged a buck for! Felt sorry for the waitress as she was new and did a excellent job, but the food was horrible and in the end will kill her tip business! There are many places in Fargo to have a burger and beer! This one is crossed off my list!
Our wait staff lady was fabulous. Food was great too.
There were signs posted asking patrons to be understanding of wait staff since there is a worker shortage, but I found the service quite good, at least 4.5 out of 5. The prices were about average for 2022, since we are currently experiencing high inflation rates. My friend had a patty melt with onion rings and she said it was good. But I had walleye fingers from the appetizer menu and they were quite awful: heavy breading with way too much salt and some other spice my friend said might be cinnamon. I didn’t taste cinnamon, but they just weren’t right. I found myself acting as a surgeon biting out as much of the actual fish particles as I could. What I really wanted was a nice piece of fish very lightly breaded, but they were unable to accommodate that request.
As northside residents we visit often. Labbys is known for good pasta but tonight the cheese sauce was watery and bland - not our typical experience. French dip sandwich Philly style was delicious and a new favorite. Fries are comparable to McDonalds but were cold. Beware of their new practice: sign on table tent states a discount is given when paying cash. They don't tell patrons they charge an EXTRA 3% for using a credit card. We called them out on this and server became defensive, pointed to the cash discount sign, said it was a new practice as of two months ago, etc. Credit card transactions are a cost of doing business. Adding 1-3% cost to a $10 entre will go relatively unnoticed by consumers. Passing this cost to consumers is like charging for a glass of ice water or using the bathroom. And it gives reason for patrons to go elsewhere.
Good pizza food was all good. It was busy but we were well tended to.
Decent burger and ceasar.. good service. Great location if you're going to the fargo dome
My pizza was burnt, I asked if it came with hot sauce and sour cream? I got nothing.Ordered boneless chicken with side of ranch. No ranch.So I got a burnt taco pizza with no cheese, no sour cream or hot sauce.. boneless chicken with no dipping sauce. Very disappointed.
Great food! Different for a bar. I highly suggest the fried pickles, chips & salsa (delicious house-made pico), or asian bombs to start. My other favorites include the Hawaiian chicken sandwich, grinder (sandwich), spicy ranch wrap, and philly wrap. Also, sweet potato fries and jalapeño ranch are always the way to go.
It’s alright just avoid bingo nights if you don’t play cause it’s too loud to be enjoyable
