Joel the bartender was extremely helpful when my to go order was incorrect. He was professional and worked to correct my order. There was a lady bartender and she was not cooperative and was saying that they were short staffed and that's why the order was wrong. On top of that, she had the audacity to ask for my receipt and card to adjust the payment on my order that SHE took over the phone when I placed the order. Chris, the manager, was the BEST manager ever! He not only corrected my order, but made sure that everything was correct and compensated me with my meal. All I can say is that Chris and Joel are exemplary workers and an asset to the Doolittle's team!
We were there on a busy week night celebrating our wedding anniversary. Wine was half off (and delicious), our server was very attentive and personable, and the food was almost perfect. My husband thought his steak needed a little more seasoning, and the fingerling potatoes were more like crispy fries, but other than that, we loved every other aspect of our experience. We will definitely be returning to Doolittles soon.
Doolittles is one of the regular restaurants we visit. The food was excellent. Our server, Anthony, was cheerful, friendly, and helpful.
Everything was great. My only concern was that I told both the reservation and the hostess and the server that I wanted the check and instead he just sat the total bill on the table.
Great service and food
The food was very good overall. My daughter ordered a steak entree -- Steak was very good but thought they were a bit sparse on the asparagus and potatoes for the price of the entree. Service was excellent! We sat out on the patio - was surprised the road noise from the street wasn't that bad - helped that there are mature trees and shrubbery. Was a great experience as I haven't been there in several years.
Anniversary
Best rub EVER! Chef Ramirez gave me a small tub to use at home, been doing wings a lot and tomorrow a large pork tenderloin. If you haven't yet, get into Doolittle's Fargo for the best food, service and Bloody Mary's you'll have in the Sugarbeet Belt!
I have been coming here for over 10 years and this was the most disappointing time. I read other reviews on Trip Advisor and Yelp, should have taken the reviews into more consideration before going. Just a really poor experience.
This place never disappoints.
