The BEST! I love this place - it's perfect for date night or birthday celebrations. I consistently order the bang bang shrimp (awesome quality) but have tried a little bit of everything on the menu. The only thing I haven't been a huge fan of is the clam chowder - it needed a little bit more seasoning. I love that they have old bay hot sauce at every table, too. The service is typically great, but last time we went our server wasn't super attentive and I wasn't able to get my water glass refilled. Other than that, they're amazing. They have raised their prices and I don't think it reflects the current menu on their website - it's a little bit more expensive now. Regardless, I still think the food is a pretty good deal.
Was the best fish I have ever had. And I lived in a fishing town . The service was just epic . Friendly and clean and welcoming.
This restaurant is tucked away in an alley. The atmosphere was good; nice modern look. We were there during happy hour so drinks and oysters were cheaper. Our wine was good for house variety. My wife got oysters and they were deliscous. The lobster bisque was very tasty. I had the cod/halibut combo and it was cooked just right and tasted great. Had coleslaw and french fries for side dishes. Also, good. Our waiter was attentive without being over bearing. We will be back and I highly reccommend this eatery for good fresh seafood and great service.
My partner and I have resided in downtown Fargo for a couple of months now. Beer and Fish company was our first dining experience and we have enjoyed their cuisine frequently. Often we would order ahead and pick it up with no issues. On our last visit, however, we dined inside the restaurant and the service was below average. The beverages were ordered early but they were actually ordered in pos system very late and we were very thirsty and eventually received them after the appetizers were consumed. The service was ok but the over attentiveness was annoying at times and we felt rushed. The food and beverages were good and strong. The walleye was particularly bone-ridden which surprised me but I believe that's the nature of the fish. It could have been an off day for the server/restaurant, but it is a shame due to the great service on the other occasions.

Good food and drinks! Drink menu is generous, offering a wide selection to choose from. Menu of course is fish and with something for everyone related to seafood. There’s even sandwiches and a cheeseburger if seafood is not your preference. Large tables, comfortable seating, great ambiance and a bar. Waitstaff is awesome, attentive and on top of their game!
My favorite restaurant in the FM Area. Food is fantastic!! Absolutely delicious. The Tuna Tartare is a great appetizer, Lobster bisque is yummy, and I love the sauce that goes with the Tiger Shrimp. My kids love the Lobster Mac & Cheese (teen and college age boys).Anniversary dinner was a special date with the Seafood Feast pictured here. Absolutely worth every penny!
We have brought many people with us from the area. Food is always good to great. Service is excellent. We love the crab cakes/bang bang shrimp we have tried many entrees and have not been disappointed. Thank you

Beer & Fish Company was not something I expected to love. I usually avoid downtown places, its not my crowd, but I'm super happy I went to eat here. The food cost more than I expected, but it was worth every penny. I tried some shrimp tacos and walleye fingers, the walleye was perfectly breaded and fried and to be honest I don't know what half the things were on the tacos but I bit in and it was delicious.The service was great and it was visible that everyone working there enjoyed what they were doing. I will be going back soon.
