I LOVE Qdoba….I was so excited to go there this evening but was extremely disappointed. And I mean extremely. I walked away from the counter and told my family I won’t be eating here again, I will make the jump to pancheros instead. While they were making the burrito I was observing very small portions of all of the items I was asking for. While they were preparing to fold the burritos I mentioned how small those burritos were compared to normal. The person in charge said that no one had proper training before so they were over serving portions so now they are serving the correct portion. I guess that every Qdoba I have ever been to has been over using ingredients because I have never had such a small burrito at any location. Additionally, I measure my portions so I can tell you we had about 1. 5 ounces of pork, maybe 2 at the very most. It barley made a strip on the burrito. Normally one burrito can be cut in half and shared, but not today. It was too small to cut in half. I have a picture of the one my 8 year old son ordered and his hand next to it to show how small it was. This was 100% not worth the $10.00 each we were charged. So sad I have to break up with my favorite place.
Went to the Bismarck location during lunch rush, and it was busy, which is good, and I don't mind waiting, but the pace the employees were working at was awful. The assembly line was so slow. I get that you don't want to rush, and I don want my food to be made right, but this was some other kind of slow. One guy was preparing food, but would just stop for minutes and look around the store, like he didn't know what was going on. He did this with several customers in front of us and it took up so much time. He would just stare out at other customers, but not say or do anything. Very strange! We ended up leaving and going to Taco John's next door, because we had been standing in line for about 20 mins, and could see we weren't going to be served anything soon as the line was moving so slow. Just a strange experience overall and I'm usually a fan of Odobas.
Terrible management employees don't show up on time employees cuss in front of customers the cook they have there doesn't temp out the chicken. Employees call in saying things like I drink too much the night before can't make it in or they just no call no show several times and still get to keep their job very unclean unsanitary restaurant and the GM doesn't have a clue on how to manage people
I used to live in Minot and moved to Bismarck two years ago. I have now been to the Bismarck Qdoba five times since moving here, and am still waiting for it to live up to the expectations that have been set by the Minot location. Two specific things off the top of my head: 1) the food never looks or tastes as fresh-I rarely see new meat being cooked & there's always numerous bags of cold/stale chips waiting on the counter at checkout 2) tables are never clean, garbages are overflowing, and soda machine screen is hardly legible from the amount of dirty fingerprints that have never been wiped clean...even when it's slow and employees are just goofing around talking vs. cleaning or preparing for the next rush in order to provide fresh/warm food as afformentioned. I still love this food chain and will likely keep coming back, just not nearly as often as I did while living in Minot.
The young kid working when it was busy was great. Kind, helpful, fast! Great group of employees ? !
Erin was the woman who took care of us today and WOW she has so much customer care experience. She was so nice to chat with while she was making our food. She was really lovely, and you can tell she works hard and loves what she does. I hope next time we come, she is working!
I dont know why I keep giving this place a second chance. Everytime I leave there I'm angry. The customer service is terrible and the food is a mess. I'm done with this place ? we NEED a Chipotle!!
Food is decent, doesn't compare with other burrito bars like Chipotle though. However the reason for the low review is that almost every Qdoba I have been in is not very clean, and this one was no exception. The staff seemed disorganized and not efficient. Probably won't be back.

Good food and friendly service, but sometimes they randomly change their hours without announcing it.
