Mouthwatering melt in mouth Delmonico steak. Excellent bartenders. Spring rolls…so good. They don’t take reservations so I recommend getting there before the rush.

One of my favorite places to eat since I was little! The crab dip appetizer is a MUST! Hands down the absolute best I’ve ever had! My daughter & I split the salmon and they brought us out food already split on two plates, (pictured one) was plenty and was very satisfied with portions sizes we were given! Very nice atmosphere & always clean & top notch service.

Everything about the Village Tavern exudes quality! The teams are so well trained and the food is divine. We had the prime rib, which melts in your mouth. We also shared the beet salad, which was the perfect blend of tangy (beets) and salty (crumbled feta) married with balsamic dressing— so delicious! I have to praise Village Tavern for providing a wonderful experience from hosts through to service. Thank you to the management for supporting your staff with excellent training.

Amazing food and service. Highly recommend reservations as place gets busy quickly and seems to stay busy all day.Portions are generous. That is piece of French toast, basically half a slice. Crab cake Benedict with Sriracha hollandaise also a great choice.

We've dined at the Village Tavern in Charlotte and decided to try this Winston Salem version. Our day was up in the air so we didn't have a reservation. We dined early and were seated immediately. Our server was very attentive and made sure everything was taken care of. I had the trout and my wife the salmon. I was most impressed by my wedge salad and the homemade blue cheese dressing. I couldn't believe how much blue cheese crumbles they included. The food was outstanding and the prices very reasonable. Will definitely return if we are in the area.

We've eaten here numerous times. Our waitress Michelle yesterday 4/28/22 was awesome. She introduced herself with her name, she made sure to at least say something everytime she walked pass our table, and she was professional. That's a waitress to me.

We were here for Sunday Brunch. A lot of great choices on the menu. Nice assortment of cocktails and great service. We'll be back.

Honestly some good food with great service. We ordered the Crab dip appetizer (which was sooooo good). As well as shrimp & Grits & pasta. Both dishes were flavorful(bordering on salty but still good)Service was top notch. Semi-following Covid guidelines.

My wife and I were visiting from Lenoir NC and were both very pleased with the Tavern's food and service. Wonderful variety of dishes and cold beers. First time visit for us but we'll be back soon for sure.

Meal served slowly and meat loaf was just barely like warm. "Caesar" salad not by Caesar - dressing had a mustard flavor. One of party of five ordered pizza and it was served after all others had eaten. One patron liked the trout dish. The managers did compensate by dropping the charge for meat loaf and pizza. That was a nice gesture but, given the poor service and mediocre meat loaf and "Caesar" salad, no return visit. Waitress was very nice and apologetic. The place says "best" in Winston Salem, a gross exaggeration.
