Pretty good, this place is clean and generally what you would expect from a sushi buffet. The options aren't drastic and it's usually the same stuff every day. It's kid friendly and has many choices for the little ones. Would definitely come here again, but it's not like it's the best sushi bar around. The spoons are way to sharp and cut my lip, though. The waitress also never refilled our drink, but kept hovering and waiting for us to leave.
While taking my partner on a short trip he wanted Chinese. We decided to try Tin Tin buffet. There were several choices of food from Chinese, American, hibachi, and sushi. This was a good choice. The wait staff was good. The food temperature of some items was lower than it should have been especially just being placed on the bar. The lighting at the buffet serving line was good. The sneeze guards over the buffet were clean and had a good protection coverage. Overall the buffet was good, I did not try the hibachi.
Follow me on IG: @zackaryeats for recommendations on more places to eat!Tin Tin Asian Buffet is the ONLY Chinese buffet currently available in Winston-Salem and offers Chinese food, hibachi, and sushi at a fantastic price! The Chinese food tastes similar to your standard Chinese food takeout, and the sushi quality is surprisingly decent, which makes the buffet price worth it since it's all-you-can-eat. The Chinese food is solid. The sushi consists nigiri (salmon, tuna) and specialty rolls. The hibachi bar is self-serve, so you gather the raw ingredients on a plate and hand it to the chef. Ice cream is also available here, but they come prepackaged in little styrofoam cups. Make sure you come with an empty stomach to maximize the amount of food you can eat!WORTH IT? MAYBE, if you're looking for a buffet to satisfy your Chinese food, hibachi, and sushi cravings, then look no further! (Overall 6/10)The Friday and weekend adult buffet is fairly expensive and will set you back $18, which is understandable given the COVID situation on restaurants. The prices have been marked up from last year when I could dine at Tin Tin for only $13 for dinner.
Always have a nice time here. Extremely clean, I've seen employees run to clean spills and such lol. Food is tasty, I'd say on the higher end for a buffet. Price is fair. The acoustics are nice too because even when crowded the restaurant stays relatively quiet.Highly recommend giving it a try!
I love this place! And try to come every time we come to Winston. We had a party of 16 and they were able to sit us quickly. Such a great selection of good food and it's always hot. Very clean. Very bright decor. Probably one of the best buffets I've been to.
Oh! I enjoyed my to go platter! The hibachi grill station chef is amazing! The check out hostess was very nice and the prices are comparable to Hong Kong Buffet (which I truly miss). This is my new spot!
It was a neither great experience or bad. It was just good. It's really nice and clean looking especially cause of lighting. Not sure who made the place but it looks a bit mismatched with the general buffet decor that was probably added in.Food was decent thought there's not really too much to choose from but the ambience was at least nice!I would definitely advise putting bowls for the soup....it's just really really weird to eat from styrofoam.
We love this place. Being a buffet style of course food better/ fresher during high volume of customers...but no complaints. Love how they have adapted to covid restrictions( wear masks when not sitting at table and gloves when going for food- both provided) little pricey but choices are vast
By far, our favorite buffet as of right now. It's cheap, the food is good quality, and the staff is nice. As for Covid practices, masks and gloves are required for getting food. No worries, they provide the disposable gloves. We love going when we are craving Chinese food because with the price, it's cheaper than ordering all the different types for takeout.
We got here 11;08 am our food was cold. Very cold. We told our waiter. She didnt seem to care. Will not be back. So sad. Just can't find good food and service anymore.
