I thought the chicken was flavorful. The sides were great, the greens were vinegary, not really my thing, but my wife loved them. Mac and cheese was on point. the got the hot level chicken, didn't feel any burn, but again it was tasty. I may jump to the hottest level next time, there is also a challenge for you spicelords out there. the ranch and blue cheese were on point, felt homemade that's a plus. Oh and don't forget the banana pudding, truly magnificent.
THE BEST CHICKEN EVER. My husband and I visited the city for a conference—grabbed a quick lunch the first day & on the second day came back & brought friends. We recommended this place to so many people. The food was seriously so fresh and delicious and every server was incredibly kind! CANNOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE ENOUGH. We will seriously go out of our way to stop here every time we’re going through town.*side note: we are spicy lovers and the medium was delicious but had our nose running (fair warning) You do have the option to order your chicken without the spice, too. We had some friends do that.
So good! Definitely REAL hot chicken. Most places aren’t that spicy to me, but their “hot” level left me sweating, but still had good flavor. Enormous pieces of freshly fried, crisp chicken. Absolutely recommend.
I ordered the tenders medium heat with a side of mac and cheese. The food was delicious and the tenders had a bit of a kick at medium heat. I guess they don’t call it Timmy’s Hot Chicken for nothing.
Tried them as part of a food tour and omg prob the best chicken sandwich I’ve ever had. And we got a small sampling of the boozy lemonade which was oh so amazing. So fresh and refreshing. Would be excellent on a hot summer day. I had the medium spice sandwich and my nose is still running lol. But that flavor is top notch. So gonna come back here
First, service by Mariah was excellent! She helped us decide on menu choices since it was our first visit. We went with the very hot chicken thigh sandwich and the hot wings. The very hot IS very hot! ? the mac is just okay, wouldn't order again. The fries are really good. Ranch & Blue Cheese on point! Overall, good spot with good vibes and food. We will go back.
The outside of the building doesn't do it justice. It was very clean inside and they did have beyond meat as well. Our food was very good and the server was very nice to us.The spice level is probably a step up from what you order so the hot is more of a very hot, but it is well worth the trip
Chicken sandwich was decent. $4 for fries is a bit steep when they should come with it. They come with your order at small batch next door especially since they own it that should apply for Timmy’s. Makes no sense to me. Not really worth the money.
We got the Tim and the Mac and cheese. Both were excellent and we will be going back to try the tenders. We got medium for the spicy level and it was very flavorful but not spicy as would be expected from medium. Will be trying hot or very hot next time
Next time will get the wings or tenders as the Nashville thigh recipe was good but the breading/skin was a bit much. Otherwise, excellent service, cool atmosphere and good food. Vinegar collards have some real bite but are good. Fries are great and Mac and Cheese dish was different from the norm and delicious still.
