I have been going to The Carriage House since they were located across the street and considered it a favorite place to eat. Our family went there tonight for Mother’s Day meal. Our son and his wife and three children, our daughter and her husband and two children with their date. A total of 13 and we were presented with a “party menu” with very limited items. We asked if we could have a regular menu and were rudely told NO! Needless to say we got up and left and WILL NOT EAT THERE AGAIN! So if you want to enjoy a meal and your family and your group is larger that 8 I would suggest you find another restaurant!
They pour an off brand steak sauce into the A1 bottles! What a scam! The waitress was wonderful though!
My first time at this cozy family owned restaurant and it won’t be my last. Friendly staff and wonderful service. I ordered take out, but next time I’ll dine in. The food and portions are amazing and the prices are spot on! If you like stuffed green pepper, fried flounder, or pork chops they are just a few of the entrees I had the privilege of sampling. A definite go to place for week night home style cooking and dining.
Very poor service the manager was very rude and talks back to costumers only one waiter was nice and helpful the others did not help at all they the food was not good at all. We had a party and they gave us menu with really nothing on it and said we could not get the other menu because we had many people but the people behind us had more people and they got a regular menu of course we were not the same race as then. They are very biased and super rude, they made are birthday party a reck, if we could give them a zero we would. It was so bad and it was not even the first time ether. Super bad would not recommend
Top Notch Food, Staff, and Atmosphere. My Son and I go often. Love, Love, Love this Place. He would highly recommend the Patty Melt, but I love the Porkchops. Breakfast is Excellent as well. Hard to beat.
The service as well as the food was exemplary. It's sometimes hard to keep a smile on your face when some people make it hard to do your job but the day I was there both were in full force and will bring me back to enjoy this lovely place which has been serving Winston-Salem for many years!
They remembered an item they forgot on my last visit and remembered it when i just mention my name after at least a month had passed ; awesome place and delicious food especially fish plate special on friday's...ty again!!!
Food was great and the service was great. Our waitress was very nice and made our day there very comfortable.
Great food and homemade desserts. Our service was warm and friendly as we celebrated my dad's birthday. One of my parents' favorite restaurants.
I will put it in the words of the owner. Obviously, you all have never been here before. Our clientele loves how the food taste without any seasoning. You and your family are free to go. Yes we were released...huh...we were free to go before you said we were free to go!!!SMH. If I could give this place no stars I would.
