I've been a regular here for years. Its definitely worth the 40 minute drive for me out of town. I have only been disappointed once. The food always comes out fresh and delicious, the staff always welcoming and friendly. Over all a very good atmosphere in my opinion. Definitely a favorite of mine!
We’ve eaten here twice and it has been great both times! We aim to support our small businesses in the community and love what Sakura “brings to the table” lol! Highly recommend!

Great lunch specials and prices are very reasonable. The waitstaff is helpful with suggestions and friendly. perfect amount of flavor to the dishes served.
when we're got there, it was so dark in there that we're had to use our phones for light to read the menus. the steak came out very dry. servers was very nice, just a shady little place

Had a bento box of hibachi grilled chicken, fried tofu, various oriental dumplings, miso soup, sweet carrots. They know how to make complimentary flavors so that all the dishes work together. Wife had a Wake Forest sushi roll which she enjoyed. Shared a Mt.Fuji dessert, rich dark chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream. Restaurant somewhat dated inside, but is about 20 years old. Because they know how to match flavors so well, will definitely return.
