Vibes are actually quite strong. Service can ruin the night sometimes tho, so sit at either bar if you can. A lot of things are over salted and possibly microwaved but we still found it good enough and we were basically across the street. Short rib was my go to along with a great negroni. My wife liked the pasta with truffle mushroom and spinach and their house Montepulciano
The service is very good we enjoyed all of our meals pizza ,spaghetti and meatballs and I had a shrimp pasta dish. The only thing I did not like is they did not take the tails off the shrimp which might look cool but it’s not convenient for trying to eat a bowl of pasta with shrimp in it. Decor with nice music was not too loud. Seemed clean.
Let’s be honest. I went to this restaurant with the intention to eat a great meal, and that did not happen. I ordered a 1st meal substituting the kind of pasta and it was tasteless. The waitress informed me that the food was not that great there, but there’s another dish she thought I’d like. She came back with that meal and it was not good. She came back with the check and charged me for a meal I did not eat. I literally did not eat anything but bread at the establishment. The owner came over with an attitude as though she was already prepared and prepped to argue with me and told me she would call the police on me if I did not pay for a meal because she’s a small business owner who is not rich and could not afford to throw away food. I informed her I was willing to pay for half a meal but not a full meal that I did not eat. I’ve never in my life experienced such discrimination. I’ve never been to an establishment that their first result to solving a situation when their customer was not a fan of their food, is calling the police. Be aware of the madness and tasteless food when going to this establishment.
We dined here with a work group and had excellent unobtrusive service. 4 plus stars for serviceThe charcuterie board was a great appetizer for the table to share.I had the Canneloni which was rather unflavorful with a plain cream sauce & lackluster filling. Worse it was crunchy. I truly love a good Canneloni but I've never had a crunchy Canneloni that was like eating a slightly burnt taco shell. I was quite disappointed and only ate part of one.I observed my dining companions ate all of their short ribs & lasagna. Another party at our table also got the Canneloni and did not eat his.Cheese selections and service earned the 4 stars.
I have been here several times now and it is always delicious. The pizzas have my favorite crust and tomato sauce in the area (maybe anywhere?) Outstanding service and food! Truly made our night special. Our server was really knowledgeable about the wine list and suggested great things from the menu. Dinner was perfectly coursed out and we loved everything we ate!
Fantastic meal! We ordered the caprese salad with two of the pizzas. We stuck to water but the cocktail menu looked great! We were heading to a show at the Piedmont theater but the dessert and coffee selection sound delicious. Would be a great spot to bring a date!
What a dissapointing first experience. Our waitress (Deijah) so so great but the food was so bland. We got the risotto, eggplant, and short ribs. All 3 orders of risotto had literally no flavor. How does shrimp have no flavor? The beef short ribs were decent but still the flavor was pretty lacking. The crab dip was pretty good but the charcuterie was really basic for the price. Most likely won't be back...
Friendly staff and great food
I really like the modern feel to this Italian cuisine restaurant. It’s not your grandfather’s dingy old haunt. Food quality is exceptional. Flavor is the hallmark of this restaurant and wine bar. Great juice to choose from
