The first couple of times I visited this location they were out of several items and I was missing items out of both orders! I decided to give them another chance because I love Panera. I worked at 4 different locations in South Florida ( 1 during the start of covid). Today I went through the drive thru at 10: 20am and tried to order a sandwich and was told lunch does not start till 11am? Thats strange to me considering I know what it entails to open the store. Everything should have been set up before 7 am opening and available if a guests asks to order an item like a sandwich . There was always time frames we learned in our MIT training when food should be ready for service. Forvexample soups were also brought out by 10 at the latest. Not sure why this location is different then the rest but will not be visiting again unfortunately!
If you can, go to another location. feel the staff here is either under trained, or they do not like their job. I waited at the drive through for 3 minutes before my order was taken. There was only one car at the window ahead of me. I placed my order and went to the front. When I got to the front they read back my order. I only had one sandwich. After taking my payment they left the window. No one came back to the window for almost 30 minutes. When they finally came back they asked my order again, and handed me the bag. I left and went home. I opened the bag and it was the wrong sandwich. I looked at my receipt to see if they rang it up wrong, but no, was right. I called the store and spoke to an employee . I told them what was wrong, then there was silence. She said do you want to talk to my manager? I said yes. She put me on hold. I was on hold for Around 7minutes. I hung up, got in my car and went back. I went in and no one was upfront. There were 2 employees with their back facing me . After a few minutes a girl washing her hands seen me and came up front. I told her what happened and how I was on hold. She said yeah my manager was busy with backed up orders. At this point I was beyond frustrated and told them I just wanted my money back. They didn't ask questions, just gave it back. I will go to another Panera before this one until they get better with customers service. Its sad because this one is closest to me.
I've only ever been through the drive through here, but 3/6 times I've sat at the ordering window for 5+ minutes to never even be greeted much less have my order taken and then driven away. And the times my order was taken, it's insanely slow. The staff has always been nice enough, but they've never gone out of their way to be helpful or especially pleasant. The food has been fine, but not spectacular. We've only been back multiple times because of the proximity to our house. Eventually we'll learn our lesson ?
Coffee was good. The coffee club is a good bargain. HOWEVER ...The tomato, scrambled egg, lettuce and bacon breakfast wrap had NO bacon on it. This was the second time this has happened. I won't be getting breakfast there again. Service was slow,. The employees were just standing around and talking on their phones. Very poor work ethic!
Big healthy delicious soup and sandwiches. The atmosphere inside has a french/italian outdoor cafe flair. Inside is very clean and efficient. Staff are friendly and customer focused. You can order directly or use their kiosk. 4 stars due to the only minor drawback, which is when ordering via the kiosk, you have to be attentive in listening for the food preparers to call your name (not easy due to the outdoors noise level). Also, the name called should be both the first and last name. Otherwise... it's GREAT!
The staff doesn’t care about quality or getting orders correct. I have literally heard staff in the kitchen and at the front counter state „I don’t care.“. I repeatedly have to report that my order was not filled correctly. I don’t have these problems at other Paneras in WS and outside WS. I like Panera restaurants, but I go to this Panera only because it is very convenient to my home. The service is awful.
I’ve worked in food service before so I’m usually understanding of employees. However, I have an issue with cashiers that give attitude off the bat. This location is always out of ingredients but it’s on the employee to inform the customer of some alternatives. This cashier told me the whole bacon turkey bravo sandwich was out- which I then asked if that was really true to be out of EVERY ingredient in the sandwich. Turns out they were just sold out of the sauce. So I don’t work at Panera- I have no idea what sauces they have instead. The cashier continued to give me attitude and was not helpful in suggesting an alternative sauce. He reluctantly listed all of the sauces in an exaggerated manner and kept shaking his head and had his attitude on his facial expression. Didn’t ask for the side I wanted. Put in my order for here rather to-go. This Panera is definitely messy.Edit: the same cashier did the same to my friend. They were out of a bread she wanted, and when she asked what bread they had instead, the cashier answered: “Everything else.” Cloverdale Panera is way more helpful and friendly.
If I could give 0 stars I would. Asked for some kind of credit, **NOT FULL CREDIT FOR MY MEAL** because I ordered off the app and had my fiancé pick it up. He arrived and they were rude to him about giving us our DRINKS WE PAID FOR that weren’t with the order. Then he gets home and I opened the sealed bag and our bagels were unwrapped just threw in the bag on top of everything, keep in mind they are cinnamon bagels getting sticky stuff all over everything else. Missing our baguettes that come with the order AS A SIDE, NOT COMPLIMENTARY AS THE MANAGER TRIED TO DIMINISH THE PROBLEM BY OBVIOUSLY ACTING LIKE I WAS WRONG. I had a side selection and chose baguettes, they are paid for too ma’am. But if she’s a manager that place is gonna be out of business before you know it. I was nice as could be and for a manager to be so bluntly rude and not try to solve such a simple issue…. Ridiculous. Get another job because yours is to problem solve and you obviously can’t do that. I hope the owner sees this because this manager working today at 12:00 just cost your reputation and customers that will spread the word that this location is SAD.
I can hardly believe what I'm about to write. It's the most bizarre retail experience I think I've ever had...I pulled up to the drive through at this Panera and no one answered. I waited probably 3-5 minutes then pulled around to the window. No big deal. It happens some times. The woman opened the window. I said "sorry but I don't think your drive through is working". She said it was her fault "she just didn't hear me". "No problem" I said "lets just do the order here". "I can't take an order at the window" she said, "you will have to drive around to the speaker again". I asked why we can't just do the order at the window and she stared at me with this blank look then closed the window in my face. I waited a couple minutes to see if anyone would come back to the window. No one did so I begrudgingly drove around to the speaker. Before placing my order I took the liberty of telling her that her behavior was petty and unacceptable. She started cursing at me through the speaker. I just left at that point and she opened the window, leaned out, and started loudly shouting obscenities out of the window at my wife and I. I don't even think I can tell you what she called me wife without my review getting flagged and taken down. Suffice it to say its about the rudest thing you can call a woman. And I know what you are thinking, but no, my wife is very non confrontational and didn't even say one word to her through the whole experience.Bizarre. Just bizarre. This store really needs to take a hard look at its hiring practices.
I love Panera Bread but i found a hair in my food the soup Broccoli Cheddar couldn't believe your employees need to ware hair nets i was so sick ? ?
