With only a couple people working in the kitchen in very slow that’s the only reason I’m giving them the one they have to pick up the pace they have to let people in the dining room the food was at best OK I’ll give them another try on another day.
First thing.I like that there was paper plates and utensils. Shows they aren't wasting unnecessary money. My food was, hot, in generous proportion, and exactly as I would have hoped it to be. I had the General chao's tofu, and I would have liked a few more pieces of Broccoli, but it was fine.Absolutely delicious.Would definitely recommend and will be back.
We loved our food and dining experience at New Sichuan. Everyone working was friendly and our food was ready quickly. I loved the Sichuan cold noodles in spicy sauce, wontons in hot chili oil, Dan Dan noodles, and my husband enjoyed the diced chicken. We love Sichuan food and we're very happy to find an authentic restaurant in Winston Salem. Their menu has plenty of the Americanized Chinese food options as well if you don't want spicy deliciousness. The prices are very reasonable and portions are generous.
Super authentic, we loved the Szechuan pepper with the distinct numbing effect. We were visiting from Charlotte and found this spot and absolutely loved it! Don’t be off-put by the exterior, the restaurant is in an old Biscuitville with a subtle sign and a run-down parking lot. It feels like you step through a portal as you walk through the door into an upscale Chinese restaurant. The food, apart from being authentically south Chinese, was fabulous. We will be back next time we’re in town!
Great food but good LORT is it expensive. It's certainly worth it if you're the kind of person that enjoys sitting down to good Chinese meal that's NOT beside a food lion with 100 folks standing around in the dining area waiting for take out wingsI suppose that has a premium price. It is a very unexpectedly pleasant environment with great service.
I wanted to have some great Chinese food when I was in town for business trip and I found this restaurant. The restaurant is very clean and good atmosphere. Staff is very friendly and food was really great. Not sure when I could visit in town next time, but I will definitely go there again.
Excellent food, authentic Chinese, Sichuan peppercorns and all! Had chonqing noodles, mapo tofu, shrimp dumplings, all good
Small portions. Plus if you walk in for takeout they give you a strange vibe. I Hear your good reviews but reallly. Any other Chinese restaurant takeout gives you twice the food at. Half the price. Try China Chef. (GREAT BUT DOESN'T UNDERSTAND SPICY.) Jade GARDEN great food and my favorite Chinese restaurant. But since covid-19 has been price spiking every since.
I have ordered from here so many times and I love the food so much. However, this most recent order, I bit down on something very hard while eating my delicious dry pot chicken. It was a tiny rock. And it broke my back tooth. So as much as I love this food, I love my teeth more. With great sadness, I will not be returning. If you choose to eat here, chew with caution.
Just moved back to town and was surprised to find a Chinese restaurant in the old Biscuitville location. Very nice inside with tables worthy of nice sit-down meal. I ordered food to go on the website, which was quite easy to use. Food was ready on time and delicious! I had the Shrimp Mei Fun and an eager to go back and try other dishes. Great value for the money as well!!
