My boyfriend and I come here pretty often because it’s close to home, but I don’t think we will be coming back either at all or for a long while. We were really disappointed with our experience tonight. We came in, sat down, and ordered our food. Both of us ordered very common dishes. He ordered ACP. Two other tables beside of us came in and sat down, got their food, and paid long before he ever got his food. The waitress walked passed our table multiple times and never made eye contact with us or asked us if everything was alright until we were finally able to flag her down and tell her it had been about an hour and he still hadn’t got his food yet. It was getting late, so we asked to get his food to-go at that point. My food came out on time, but it was lukewarm. When we asked for his food to-go, it still took another 25-30 minutes just to get the food to go. I understand that it was more than likely the cook’s fault, but there seemed to be no urgency with this waitress. Mind you, the restaurant was not busy at all. I’m pretty sure the waitress knew we were upset because when we went to pay, she stood there and watched my boyfriend write the tip, so he felt obliged to tip at least 15% even though the overall service was terrible tonight. That was what really drew the line for me to write this review. You don’t ever watch your customers write the tip. That is very unprofessional.
They Get 2 stars for the queso and the queso only! It’s very good! HOWEVER their food is disgusting. Worst food I’ve had in Winston. They service is so so and after they didn’t inform my friend about their burritos, which apparently comes with some red sauce on it, she took one bite and did not like it. She sent it back immediately and they still insisted we paid for it saying that they took time to cook it and that we waisted their money and resources. They over charged me and insisted that it was because “they had to charge for something in place of the burrito”.GO TO ANOTHER PLACE!
While the ordering and to-go experience were less than desirable, the food was just ok. It's your average Mexican establishment. Nothing great to report and nothing horrible either. Just, ok.
Can't order anything that's not great here. I've been here dozens of times and it's always been great ?
This place would be a 5 star if they seasoned the food. The quesabirria was super bland aswell as the burrito California I got. The steak tastes like it had no seasoning. The food was cooked perfect though and the staff were amazing So I will probably be back and just hope they were out of seasoning in the back.
Wanted to try something new. This was a nice place to visit. And the food portions are great
If one has never had Mexican chicken soup....what a treat! It was delicious and a large quantity. Service was excellent.
I have always got my food here but the service is not as good as it use to be. I called and placed a pick up order and the lady on the phone was laughing and talking to someone in the back ground. My order ended up being wrong and she said I never paid for that. You never know what your paying for. She would of heard my order correctly if she wasn't laughing with a coworker in the back ground. Just make sure when you order your food here you make sure to repeat it multiple times so they dont mess it up and try to charge you again.
Service was great. There was more food on my plate than expected especially at lunch and a lunch item. While the facility was clean, there was an over-bearing odor of cleanser when I walked into the place that continued throughout the meal.
I ask for scallops and shrimp chipotle and they add bunch of ketchup and the orcharta was just water and sugar
