The Ming Garden Experience (Call In/Carryout Edition). Chinese food is my favorite, and today I felt adventurous and wanted to try somewhere new. So I called Ming and ordered their lunch, orange chicken spicy with an eggroll, and told it would take 10 minutes. So I jumped in the car and headed to get my food. Once I arrived, I went to the counter to pay. I informed I ordered the orange chicken lunch combination, and then I was told there is a difference between lunch and a combination. I said lunch several times while providing my order over the telephone, so I wondered why I had to learn about the differences between lunch and dinner combinations.After paying for my meal, I waited ten more minutes for my food. I typically asked for a chili oil along with my soy and duck sauce and was told I had to pay .35 cents for oil. Nevertheless, I left that oil right there. Once ready to eat, the food looked good. However, I didn't taste the orange flavor, but I know Orange Chicken is really an Americanized dish. Nevertheless, the meal was just ok, and I am not sure if I would return. For me, something was slightly off with the customer service provided.
Great customer service! The young lady was very helpful and informative regarding the phone I purchased. I am please with my visit. This also was my first time going to this location.
Terrible attitude!!!!!! Food is good. The better Chinese food in Winston-Salem but Food never ready when they say!!!!!! China Woman very rude…. I mean very. She screams and yells if u don’t agree with her. My order was wrong . I never order pork… they gave me pork…… I try to get strimp.. they try to charge me again. Before that they make me wait hour for food. This is after telling me 15mins. I get there 35 mins. They say 10 more mins.. 1 hour later I get food. I complain and got yelled at. They don’t speak good English. They not very clean. I don’t like them no more. They use to be good, now it’s bad service.. it’s a shame because there food is good, but I won’t spend my money with people so rude ever again!!!!!!! Shut them down!
This was surreal. After sitting down at a table, I chose from the menu and then made my order at the counter. I retrieved my food and went back to my table. Seconds later, the cashier and cook began screaming at me to leave and that I must eat outside. They denied my request for a refund, but then said go ahead and eat at the table. But it was hard to eat being upset after being accosted like that.
My most favorite Chinese restaurant in Winston-Salem their food is just as good in three or four dollars cheaper then Mr Lu's
They Food Is Good But Sometimes The Chicken Is To Hard & The Chicken And Vegetables In The Rice Don't Be Done All The Way So I Recommend You Ask For Your Rice Well Done And Your Chicken Not To Be Fried So Hard ??♀

This is my first time eating here. I got the sesame chicken combo, with fried rice and egg roll. Rice cooked perfect, chicken tender, with just the right amount of sauce. The meal was delicious. Servers were very courteous.
The food wasn't bad but the service was terrible, called in my order was told it would be ready in 35 minutes went in 45 minutes and still had to wait for almost 40 minutes
