I placed an order online to be ready and picked up by 8pm. I picked up my food and arrive back at my hotel room excited to eat because I was starving. I get my plate ready to start eating and my food was disgusting. I ordered an ACP my chicken was burnt and the rice was bland. I couldn't even eat the rest of it and gave my whole plate to my dog. The rest I had saved for leftovers I threw out. I would never return to the establishment. First impressions means a lot to me and this one wasn't it.
Excellent food! The best! Taste is the goal and they deliver! The Margarita was perfect as well , service excellent! Highly recommend!
I went to Mi Pueblo for my niece's birthday. Full disclosure Mexican is my least favorite food. However, the staff was very nice and attentive, they came out and sang Happy birthday & gave her dessert chips . The venue is very cute, rustic bricks and festive. My niece enjoyed her meal she had a California burrito that was on special, it came with refried beans and mexican rice. The salsa was good. It had a nice kick to it. The guacamole dip needed some love. I had a shrimp, steak and chicken fajita it was good, well seasoned meats.

I had dinner at Mi Pueblo Mexican grill in Winston recently and really enjoyed it. We were able to sit outside. They had a fountain and the weather was perfect.I ended up having ribeye steak with guacamole salad, rice, and refried beans. It was delicious, but I was a bit too full afterwards.The service was really good. The waiters checked in to make sure that we were taken care of.
The food was really good. Went with my wife, two dinners and a couple drinks, we were both pleasantly surprised at the bill. Much less than we though it would be. A ton of food. We both had leftovers. Really enjoyed it. Out waiter was great as well.
This is probably my favorite Mi Pueblo location. Plenty of parking, rarely packed, great service, large portions, fast food prep, and of course tasty food! My favorite is enchiladas de lujo and my pictured with the huge Cubano sandwich which is like 2 meals! It can be tough taking a left onto Stratford Rd in busier times but it does not deter me from coming here.
Tonight I ordered a shrimp burrito and added steak to it and told the waiter no onions as I have a food allergy to onions. The order comes out and the first thing I see is an onion in the split of my burrito. Our waiter was busy for several minutes and another server saw us looking around and came to see what we needed. We told him the issue he sent the GM Angel to our booth. Angel came we explained he took the reorder and left the plate. We didn't touch it as it has onions and I am allergic. He comes back with the new burrito and never takes the old one. Our server comes checking on table clearing away playes and we talk about the burrito and he says it was his fault but he did not know the rice had onions in it. When it was time to pay the bill the we review the receipt and see 2 burrito charges we tell our server the bill is incorrect and he takes it away. GM Angel comes back and says "what is the problem with this bill" I said the one that has onions in it was never taken off there are 2 charges. GM Angel says with an attitude "its your fault you did not read the menu" I was shocked and so was my wife that this man said this to us loudly in the restaurant in front of other customers while standing over our child in the high chair. We told him the order was made and specified and verified by the server that nothing was to have onions in it so we will not pay for something we did not eat and the server knows we did not eat because it came wrong. He begrudgingly took it away with an attitude and said "fine"That was completely unprofessional, disrespectful, condescending, and down right rude. We will never and I repeat we will never eat at the MI Pueblo on Stratford Rd in Winston Salem NC EVER AGAIN! Thank you GM Angel for taking your restaurant off our list of restaurants we will be patrons at!We have never had these issues when we eat at the Reynolda Rd location. They have always treated us with respect and dignity. Maybe manager Angel should spend some time with them and learn what real customer service is! Without customers there's no restaurant to work at maybe he should be reminded...Attached is a picture of the menu we took as you can see it does not say that the rice has onions in it as manager Angel said it does...
Great food, fast service, and family friendly atmosphere. We celebrated my husband's birthday and it was awesome.
The food had a good taste. It felt light which is a good thing when eating Mexican food. Staff was friendly. I feel like the refried beans could have had slightly more flavor but overall this was a quality meal and we would go back .
