Love this restaurant. I love their Greek omelette and other items. My wife loves their Big Italian sandwich. The coconut shrimp is great but I didn't prefer the small portion, and that's okay. The staff is very friendly and our family and us love coming here. Recommend!
We had a large party however this place was ready for it. Their menu is huge. They offer everything from breakfast to dinner.our server was a little forgetful with extras but our food came out correct and it was good. She was very honest with our questions of what to get and her not so favorites we appreciate that. If your near wake forest this is a keeper. And they even sell jars of apple butter and other jams at checkout.
Food: 5 stars. Their fried chicken is the best I’ve ever had, liver was cooked really well.Dessert: 5 stars. The banana cream cake and the coconut pie are both phenomenal!Staff: 4 stars. The staff are friendly and could be more personable, this is an area where they could grow and brand the company better.
#SuperHubs and I were on the way back from Statesville and decided to stop in Winston for a bite to eat. Since it was my turn to choose (?), I wanted something that we’d never had before and that we couldn’t get in GSO. Ah, the wonder of #Google!As soon as I saw this place and the pics & reviews of the food, I knew it was gonna be the one for me. Fast forward 30 minutes and we arrive at the closest place to Heavens dining table as you can get.When we arrived, there wad already a flood of people going in and we were afraid we would have to wait, but with a lil luck, we slipped right on up to the hostess and were greeted and seated quickly.Cue the food… Because we saw this picture via Google of a GIANT chicken pot pie, we decided to share one with 2 sides. Imagine our shock when it was actually bigger than we thought. As you can see from the pics, it’s even bigger than #SuperHubs’s hands! The flavor was top-notch and so creamy, and the veggies were cooked to perfection.The corn soufflé was one of the best ones I’ve ever had. Savory with a little sweetness to hit the tastebuds just right.After supper, we decided to share a dessert as well, so we got the apple cobbler with ice cream, expecting a small side-sized bowl. When it came to the table and was the same size as the chicken pie, we were astounded! ? Obviously, we couldn’t finish it, and we ended up boxing about three quarters of it to bring home to kids.The service was excellent, our waitress always refilling our glasses with kindness and attention. The place was pleasantly clean and warm and refreshing. Even the bathroom was as tidy as could be.Do your belly a favor and visit Mama Zoe’s and order the chicken pie today.
I had the shrimp and grits this time. It had a twist to it (in the middle of the dish) - which to my surprise was very good. I have eaten at this restaurant multiple times. My food has always been good. This is simply a no frills type restaurant. The service is always on point. The staff is quite friendly. Whenever I want some comfort food or food that taste like it's homemade - this is my go to place.
My wife and I tried the chicken pot pie. Now that was a meal in and of itself. Great service! Very clean and friendly staff! Worth going back again! The next time we’ll try the breakfast!

What a fantastic place! Everyone was so nice and the service was stellar! I can't remember our servers name but she was awesome! She was super up beat and helpful, offering all she could to make us happy. Today is my daughter's birthday and she brought her a complimentary piece of cake without the song. My daughter doesn't like the embarrassing moments lol. I had the healthy breakfast which was amazing and my husband had the fried chicken steak with sausage gravy and scrambled eggs. He loved it. Everything was amazing. And the price? Very reasonable. When I am back I will definitely go there again!
