This is a real gem. Its a medium size restaurant, family friendly. They get pretty busy sometimes. Margaritas are great simple Margaritas, the food is really good. If they have churros (they go quickly) they are really good. Definitely our new local hangout.
The food was good. Service could have been a little bit better and more attentive was busy so I guess that could be in a play. Yeah I not bad

Decided to take my daughter for her first taste of fried ice cream, enjoyed the dinner but the reason we decided to eat there was because of them having fried ice cream. It was not fried. It was covered in whipped cream to hide the fact it wasn’t fried and was not covered in cinnamon and sugar like it is supposed to be. There’s supposed to be a warm crunch and softly melted ice cream behind the texture of the crunch. These folks tried to get one past us and it is not appreciated. Probably had already shut off the oil to close up and didn’t want to have to turn them back on or something. I don’t know why you would not try to fry the fried ice cream or why you would think I wouldn’t notice.
Love the food at La Carreta! Great service and awesome food! Only thing missing is Papa Mixta!!!
We split a chicken quesadilla and it was cooked just like we asked. The staff was friendly and very help with the menu items.

Only giving five stars stars because of the service I really do not enjoy the food here sorry people. My waiter Mauricio was pretty awesome Armando's awesome and the cooks are great because I know half of them. The manager was a lady and she totally rocks I'm not sure it didn't catch her name thank you la carreta keep up the good work and hire more cute guys LOL
