The food was just ok. The cut of chicken was good but the breading was really salty in my opinion, taste wise the biscuit and tater tots were just fine ??‍♀️ I was excited for the coffee but the coffee was not good at all in my opinion. Watery and just not a good taste. My husband liked his biscuit fine which is why I’m leaving 3 stars. But nobody in my party liked the coffee. The atmosphere is cool, very hipster and young.

This place is amazing. Let me say it again, AMAZING! Their menu is vast and everything is wonderful. Im a returning customer and will be a future customer. All the drinks are lovely and so are the meals. Do yourself a favor and visit here!!

Krankies is a deceivingly amazing little place. You could walk right by it and not know what awesomeness is contained inside! Funky, freaking delicious biscuit sandwiches that rotate with the season....a must go if you are passing through...and if you are a local and haven't gone yet...what are you waiting for?!!!

Fantastic local place for breakfast fare including biscuits with fried chicken, eggs and bacon. It's kinda like a super breakfast food truck without the wheels. Like a Biscuitville on wheels maybe, but very efficiently run. The menu on the website didn't work for me but if you hit the online ordering link you can see the menu.

Another great place that matches the eclectic Winston-Salem vibe.It was honestly way busier than I was expecting given its location but they have some great drinks! The outdoor seating is also quiet aside from the occasional train horn.I got the seasonal Bluberry Chai and my wife got the Matcha Lavendar Latte.

Great food, great drinks. Hard to see menu boards while in line to order. Unfortunate, unfriendly staff. Not clean. Wasteful excess packaging even for eat-in orders. Hard to hear names being called.

Had a wonderful biscuit with pimento and bacon. My friend had the lox bread which looked excellent. Good bloody mary. Coffee was down the day I went, which was a bit disappointing. The loaded tots were merely ok, get a second biscuit instead.

I'm not sure how this place has only 4.4 stars. It was AMAZING. A friend recommended it for brunch and I could not have been more pleased. There is a small parking lot and street parking all around at a low cost. I love the decor and how many different seating areas there are, both indoor and outdoor. You line up to order first, then pick your seat. Drinks will be available at the bar then your food is available shortly thereafter. Everything is packaged to go and there is no table service. We got cold and hot bourbon vanilla lattes, the Krankies classic (sub hot sauce and honey for sausage gravy), smoked lox toast, and avocado toast. Everything was delicious. I would 100% drive back for this and we live in Charlotte (with plenty of great places).

I have eaten here several times and I have to say. If you have friends or family coming to town I highly recommend picking up some biscuits for breakfast. The honey and Texas Pete is a go to favorite but the newer Nashville hot is a solid choice as well. It’s a little on the pricey side. But if you want to impress someone with breakfast, this should be in your top 5 for Winston.

The Nashville Hot Chicken biscuit was really good, it was spicy but not uncomfortably so. Menu had a lot of vegetarian/vegan options, too, and the bakery items looked great. I went early on a Sunday, food came out fast, no lines.
