Good stick to your ribs food. This is not fancy food. I love the variety of salads, entrees, vegetables, breads and desserts. The food is also very constant. They don't deviate from their recipes so if you like a particular dish, it will taste the same the next time you visit. In my opinion, the only drawback is the coffee is not good. Also they do not always have decaffeinated coffee. The service tends to be quick and friendly.Overall, good value for your money during these tight times.

Hit and miss. Mexican cornbread was extra crispy today… Country Style Steak/gravy is always great. Green beans are nothing but stems… yuck!

Sadly, our meals were only barely mediocre. My family has eaten at this family cafeteria for decades. My wife and I each had grilled chicken smothered in onions and a green vegetable. Sadly the chicken was swimming in oil, as were my green beans. I also had a muffin that was tough to chew.On this visit, including my wife and I, there were only seven (7) patrons in the restaurant for dinner at 7:15. The restaurant can easily serve and seat 100+ patrons at a time.I'm very sad to post this review as I have been a very big fan of their restaurants in NC and SC for many years. They've been closing stores since the pandemic and I wish them nothing but the best.

One word: WOW!!! Fantastic experience!! The food was incredible, so fresh and delicious. I'm so happy that I went there today! The prices are so affordable, and the restaurant is clean with plenty of seating.

To be honest, I gave this restaurant 3 stars just so you would read my review. The food was not bad tonight.. Oriental chicken and chicken livers. Both served with white rice.

Thought I would give them another chance since my last visit there was so bad . I got country style steak because it always looks the same and taste the same at every K&W I have ever eaten at. It looked a little different and it certainly tasted different and the meat was full of gristle. Worst I have ever had anywhere. I will never return. The sooner they shut the doors ,the better. If I could give them zero stars I would .

I was wanting some hot fish and hot butter grits, hot coffee, onion hash browns unseason foods are not as delicious as seasoned foods , I was reminded Donald! Thank the Lord you were Taught to cook for yourself and enjoy your cooking. With seasonings, of course pray over your food before you eat it. The old school cooking the best, and that's in your owned kitchen. Have a bless day.

Haven't been here in a while and was sad to see the chicken pan pie doesn't have chicken in it any longer. I was literally given a plate of cream of chicken soup with carrots and potatoes and crust. Still had the same great flavor, just lacks on chicken. Mashed potatoes, Mac and cheese, egg custard pie, and everything else was great. Service was also great.

No complaints with food, I eat there every Sunday. My issues are with the cashier, no matter how nice I am to her, she always comes across with a cold nasty attitude. My wife has held her peace, but very Aggravated. Is it just us? It’s the cashier on Sunday evenings.

Delicious food. Had the chicken livers. Yum and the mashed potatoes are from scratch..no mix..loved the okra.My friend had the livers and cabbage and turnip greens. She said they were goodThe waitress was really friendly and kept our glasses full
