Highly recommend this bar for amazing house special cocktails. The Karen is to die for. They also have charcuterie boards, olive boards and bread boards. The staff all seem to get along in a fun way and are so interactive with the bar goers. The atmosphere has a sexy retro feel to the air. They even have a 70's themed room that will make you feel like you and your friends are on that 70s show!

Nice and cozy. If you like wood, leather, earth colors then you’ll enjoy it here. Their cocktail menu is good, my favorite is the bourbon and blood. The Charcuterie board has a decent selection of cheeses and cold cuts. The fig jam is a great addition, (assuming it is fig). But be aware it is pricier than other bars in town.

Really cool, hip vibe. I really enjoyed the music playing. The bartenders were very friendly, and the cocktails were really well crafted & delicious. Looking forward to visiting again, maybe on a Friday/Saturday night. I'm told there's an area upstairs with a DJ.

Great place to go to relax, have some drinks and snacks while enjoying talking to friends or just reading a book!

My wife and I stopped in over the weekend and this place is really awesome! Great drinks, great service, not too crowded, and really cool vibe. We’ll be returning customer for sure.

Awesome rotating selection of cocktails with great bartenders. Love the atmosphere and aesthetic. My wife and I like to sit in different booths to see what interesting books they have on the walls.

After recently moving back to NC, I was thrilled to have a neighborhood bar. I went on Friday, December 3 and HUNTER, the bar manager, was bartending. I waited 30 minutes for a drink, and was not acknowledged or greeted, and the bar was not full. I paid my tab at the end of the night, but did not leave a tip and wrote on the receipt that waiting 30 mins for a drink was unacceptable. Keep in mind, I had been 9 times since September and my average tip was $15 or higher (I pulled my bank statements to ensure accuracy). The next night we went back and I was seen immediately (HUNTER knew who I was the night before - despite the failure to greet or ask for my order for 30 mins) by HUNTER who proceeded to tell me I am "banned" from the bar because I was rude. I told him it's a shame because I love to support local businesses, but I had no choice but to respect his decision, turned and walked away.I have emailed Herbie Gimmel (one of the three owners) about this situation with no response. It's a shame Joyner's is treating local patrons as disposable and with such disrespect.

I feel about 2-3 tax brackets higher than I am without the snooty scumbaggery attached when I go here. Tastily balanced drinks, polite and professional bartenders, and a place I can get cozy in for hours while sipping cocktails with an old friend. A nice special occasion bar if you're meeting someone from out of town or vice-versa.

Such a great cocktail bar! They had a wonderful selection of cocktails on the menu. We never up talking to the bartender and told him the type of drinks we typically like and he made a his take on what he thought we would like. The drinks were absolutely delicious! They have outdoor seating in the front on the sidewalk and the inside has the best ambiance. Would highly recommend if you're looking for a cocktail and/or a snack!

Amazing drinks by Austin. Great atmosphere. Put simply, the finest bar in the 336.
