Paid $11 for avocado toast - it comes with a small cup of fruit and a drink. Tea tasted very bitter and wasn’t brewed properly. When we opened the container of food (which we waited 10 minutes for) it was just a piece of toasted bread with a cup of avocado. They didn’t even spread the avocado on!! What did you spend 10 minutes doing? Not making avocado toast! And we weren’t even given any utensils to spread the avocado or to eat the fruit with. Very disappointed with this service and how much was charged for it. Very doubtful I’ll ever be going back again!
I highly recommend this place. No matter what I order my food is always delicious and satisfying; plus you get FREE ice cream (you can add fudge) self-serve.The only problem is the eating area was not clean when I was there April 2022. Tables, booths and floor were dirty. This place had always been cleaned before COVID-19; and the first time I went back there was after COVID-19 so i think they are low on staff to clean table and floors. Would I eat there again? Definitely.
This is the first time I've been to this particular Jason's. The food is always consistent and good. I enjoy the ice cream machine which unfortunately wasn't working on this visit. It's a quick place to get a good quality meal and enjoy the process.
My wife and I truly enjoy our frequent Jason's deli experience! The salad bar/soups are truly great and for us It's more than food when we arrive to eat, the GM(Gerald) goes above and beyond to give out GREAT menu recommendations and makes it feel like home with his energy alone, hence the reason we choose to dine-in. The staff is super friendly, helpful, and they always have smiles on their faces. We as customers appreciate things of that nature.
I always get the California club! It usually it has more meat on it but it still tasted great nonetheless! I wish there was one closer to home. Their fruit is always fresh and the fruit dip is soo good!
Great food + great service at a reasonable price. The pot roast sandwich is banging! And the Irish potato soup puts the competition to shame!
I’ve eaten here several times in the past when visiting the area. It was good. It’s now- changed and very bad. No pastrami and it claims to be a deli. Limited selection of sandwiches. The half sandwich/ soup deal left me very hungry. The sandwich 1/2 was no more than two or three bites. The soup bowl was miniature. My wife did not like their chicken salad. Obviously skimping on ingredients in soup and sandwiches. I hate spending money on food, and regretting it. This is a horrible value, and now, bad food. I will not go back.
The whole experience was just bizarre. A drink costs $2.69 ? Salad bar was really good but the plastic gloves were a bit much imho. However, the other people in our party had their entire order go missing. They tried to get a refund because we were done eating but they immediately produced the lost order. They did give them a $20 gift card for their trouble. Just bizarre. I had only been there one other time many years ago. Seems it'll be another few years before I go back again. YMMV. Best wishes.
Yum! We stumbled onto Jason's deli in Winston-Salem while visiting because no where else was open because of the pandemic. Wonderful surprise! Just like the delis we knew and loved in NY. The pastrami is to die for. Great menu, excellent service. Highly recommend!
I ordered a 1/2 sandwich and a side of Mac n cheese for my first meal after hours of being at the hospital with my sister (she had a healthy baby boy ❤️). I add this because I really needed this meal. I was looking so forward to it. I got the sandwich on the herbed focaccia bread. It was so hard I couldn't bite through it so I had to abandon it. The Mac n cheese was an abomination. I guess I thought it would be similar to Panera's, but I was basically Kraft Easy Mac + twice the amount of water and noodles that were crunchy. It was the most disappointing meal I've ever had in my life (& I've eaten at Burger King y'all). 0/10: would not recommend.
