Great tasting fresh seafood! Excellent customer service and great portions for the money! We will be back!
Our first time here and it was fantastic. The flounder and shrimp was delish and the slaw is fantastic. Thank you we will be back.
Great fried catfish and the collard greens were as good as grandma's. The sanitation grade is very respectable too. Service was slow and advised that my order wasn't received and had no record of name of the person whom placed the order..and paid for via phone call. Careful stepping to leave the counter area..a little slippery.
Very disappointed. I ordered my food online for curbside pickup. I parked in the designated area and clicked the link to notify them I had arrived. I waited 15min in the car and called (bad phone etiquette). I did see a women (I assume a manager) come from the back door to grab her coffee or smoothie (that she had delivered) and didn’t even acknowledge my wait or ask has someone checked on my order. Maybe 2 min later the same woman returns and hands me my bag and says “your order just came up”. I checked the bag and my fries and shrimp were COLD. I walked into the restaurant and asked for my money back. Truly disappointed and disgusted. No one even tried to get my a fresh hot meal or seemed to care. I will NEVER return. I heard a bad review from a few friends but I still gave them a chance. Never will I return.
When they say it’s fresh, they are not kidding. Tastes like it came straight from the ocean to your mouth. The way it’s cooked and the seasoning used is unlike any other seafood I’ve ever had. Everything on the menu is to die for and the people are always kind and genuine. If I could give 6 stars I would. Please don’t skip out on trying this wonderful restaurant.
the food was ok. not much seasoning on the fish, but the shrimp tasted better. I have one request please don't put hot sauce in your collard greens. I almost chocked to death because it was so hot. allow the customer to put their own hot sauce on it. I don't eat hot sauce so I was disappointed in the greens. and I drove 30 minutes because of the reviews.
My first and last experience. The menu was confusing. Somehow the 3 combo went from 15 to 31. I’m thinking I was going to get nice size fish and portions. The food had no flavor.the shrimp was not jumbo and the gumbo shrimp was not clean. I waited almost an hour for unhappiness. I feel like the grease was not fresh neither. The way people were running in and out you would have thought the food was over the top. I could have gotten better at home. But no I keep giving these restaurants a try around here. I’m done. Thanks for another horrible experience Winston Salem.
Super fresh, super tasty from the market.I ordered 2 pecks and ended up needing one more.These guys are awesome. They got my extra with no problem!3 pecks and not a single bad oyster. If you need seafood come here. I'll be back soon.Oyster roast complete! Ate most and smoked the leftovers.Great job everyone. You are an amazing resource for the area.
Had our first meal at Forsyth Seafood this evening. WhT took us so long??? Awesome shrimp and clam strips. Wonderful Kind and welcoming folks. Super clean. Absolutely loved it! Will definitely be back!
Haven't been to Forsyth in well past 10+ years...and now I understand why. I ordered a meal that was supposed to be $14.99. Somehow it ended up being $15.89 bringing my total up to $17 and change. That was already a turn off. I looked online and it was listed as that price and in the Cafe. I get home and I really am not impressed! The food was barely seasoned almost no taste at all. It used to be too salty but now it's like they just used a dash flavor. I had to drown the fish in malt vinegar. Hard to believe this for a business of color. The okra was awful ?. I'm unsure which brand they use but this kind had those stick-like strands in it. The seasoning for those wasn't good either. I ended up only eating a few.Regrettably, I won't be back. The wait was too long, food not good, and the price too high for the taste. I went against my gut feeling on this, when I normally eat the other brand. This place is just not the same as when I was in high school.*My review reflects my opinion on the matter...no harm meant. People have different taste. This just wasn't it for me personally.*
