Great beers. Delicious appetizers: giant pretzel, fried pickles, and loaded tots. Burger was amazing, and fries were too.
Great place. Have had their beers for a couple of years,but my first time having any of them fresh on draft. Glad I got to experience that.
we waited over an hour for our food while two tables who came in after us were served their food before us. When spoke to the hostess, she went to the back and immediately brought our food out. The chicken tenders were burnt and the broccoli with beer cheese was soupy and could not be eaten. The rest of the food was lukewarm as well. We were given no indication as to why it took so long and not even an apology or let me buy you a drink for your wait. We had a party of 6 and we all tipped at least 20 percent because we know what it is like to be in the service industry. My friend even bought a bunch of your merchandise. It was extremely disappointing and none of us will be returning. It is very sad because we enjoyed the atmosphere.
We really enjoyed our trip to the Foothills Brewpub today. The employees were super friendly! We ordered the fish and chips for our entrees and the fried pickles for our appetizer. The food was good, but a the fries were a bit over-cooked. If I had asked them to replace them, I’m sure they would have gladly done so. The remoulade sauce for the fish was excellent. We will definitely return again.
Great wings and great service!! Im new to Winston salem and was told I have to try Foothills. Im so glad that I did!! The smoked wings fell off the bone and tasted delicious. The staff were really welcoming, I felt like a regular. Sarah was our server and she was the best! She was very knowledgeable of the beers and suggested the perfect one for me, 1000 smiles. I will definitely be back.
I ordered the buffalo chicken wrap…and found a hair which looked like a dog hair on my pickle… the sandwich was not that great…as soon as I was seated the hostess didn’t clean the dirty chairs but cleaned the table. The waitress (think her name was Sarah) was not very friendly and was very rude. She didn’t bother to refill my water drink or come check on my table or ask if I’m okay and need anything. I had to ask other waitresses several times for help…which is ridiculous. And once it was time to pay the bill she tried to charge for some ranch which we didn’t even know had an extra charge…she should have told us in the beginning…instead of expecting first time customers to see everything written down on the menu since they took away the menus after order was placed. she said that it was written In the menu but it should have been explicitly mentioned before we asked for more ranch. She said It’s just 50 cents and I can get our manager if you want to take that off. Overall the experience here was not a pleasant one..don’t think I’ll be coming back or be recommending it to my friends.
Busy Saturday night. Everybody was out because of the nice weather. Excellent food.. Even better service. Morgan was our waitress. You could tell that they were short staffing wise. We only saw a few wait staff... but they were all helping each other out. Not once did Morgan mention anything about being short. But she did hustle and gave us some of the best service we have ever had. She went above and beyond. Just one of the the reasons why Foothills is one of our favorite places when we come to Winston. Thanks again!
If I could give less than one star, I would. Our server didn’t write anything down so things were forgotten/never put in. We got to the restaurant well before the kitchen shut down and food still took 25 min. A hair was found in one of our groups food as well. I came out Thursday night (st Pattie’s day) and had the same server. She comped our drinks that night because drinks took so long to be brought out. Honestly just really disappointed in the whole experience both nights. The manager made up for some of it though.
They place is awesome!! Flights are so cheap, beer is so good!! Food is awesome, staff wearing masks and so helpful. First place I have eaten indoors in NC in over 2 years!! The reuben was so good!!
Had fish and chips with sweet potato substitution.Food presentation was not the best but the food was great. The beer was great and reasonably priced.
