The food was horrible. We got a turkey and Brie and the turkey was loaded with gristle and fat. Sliced very thick and tasted like something you would get at a discount store. The pesto pasta wasn’t bad but only enough for three bites. Overly priced for the quality of food. Service was horrible and the only refill on drinks was when I had to flag waiter down. Price tag for the four of us close to $80 for bad food. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else to eat.
Really good breakfast, great food as you can see in the pictures. The service was however lacking I think they needed help. We asked for ketchup and ordered a chocolate milk for the 3 year old never saw our waitress again, had to ask someone else. The extremely bad thing was it was a very blustery day the winds were very bad, we were eating outside with several other families with young children. Two of the umbrellas came flying out of the tables one went in the parking lot adjacent to restaurant but the other hit the table next to ours, we are all very lucky no one was hurt. The staff came out quickly and took all the rest of the umbrella's down. It was actually a very scary moment. I hope they can get more staff soon be ashame for them to close because of no help. Also side note I asked for sugar-free syrup but they gave me pure honey instead, I kinda knew something was off but didn't say anything. They came and ask at the end of breakfast if the syrup tasted like honey, I said yes it did, he apologized he said someone had mixed up the honey with the sugar-free syrup. I am pre-diabetic so this is a pretty big deal. Just glad I am not a full diabetic.
WORST RESTAURANT I’VE EVER BEEN TOThe food was absolutely horrible along with the service. To top it all off, I got a parking ticket months later. The water tasted like it was from the tap so we asked for apple juice instead. The Apple juice was also undrinkable as I’m pretty sure it was also mostly tap water. The “fruit waffle” I got had one blueberry and three tiny pieces of strawberry on top, not even remotely close to the online pictures. The staff were also the most unprofessional workers I’ve ever experienced. While she was taking our order, another server came up to her and chased her around the table with something in her hand that our server was trying to get away from. Our server then decided to yell out to her “you’re such a wh*re”. We should have gotten up to leave right then and there. She also offered no assistance with the payment device and accidentally charged me for someone else’s food. This place is an embarrassment. Please go somewhere else. I have no idea how they even have 4 stars.
I like the location, i like their setup and how they have plenty of space for parking. Which most places downtown have barely any parking. Now let’s get to the food, the gravy biscuits were good with the country Benedict I ordered. The potatoes that came with it were not warm though which was kind of a bummer, but still tasted good. The Orange juice tasted like tang or powdered juice so I don’t know what’s up with that. And their breakfast burrito was not tasty at all but soggy. We’re gonna give this place a 2nd at some point, probably for lunch. Just felt like their breakfast for early Sunday was not on point, maybe the staff was still waking up since we were there at 0730 am.
this was my first time ever eating at a famous toastery, i came here strictly because they are pet friendly. the waitress didn’t have much personality, she seemed like she was too busy to actually enjoy her job. she came to our table maybe 5 times. i ordered salad and it was good.. there wasn’t anything that made me want to come back so it was a cool one and done experience.
Absolute rip off. Two of us had breakfast there on the patio on 05/12/2022 @ 12 pm.Service was well below average. We had to refill our own coffees, run to get ketchup and help ourselves with coffee cream from an empty table.Had to ask and wait for basic things like silverware and butter for the toast. After all that, waitress shamelessly added 18% tip for herself. I’m not an arguing type, but definitely not coming back.
The service was quick , an my waitress was very attentive. The food is fairly priced an give generous portions. The weather was to nice not to sit outside on the patio and enjoy a small view of the arts district. Would definitely come cack too again.
I have been to this restaurant twice now. The food is excellent and the drinks are pretty tasty. My only issue is that service was disappointing both times. Once our food was ordered and put on the table, the server did not return. I got their bottomless coffee and not once was it refilled. The time before last, we sat for 30 minutes waiting for the server to return with our check. Ultimately, I had to ask a different person to find our check for us. I am sad that the food was so good but the service was lacking... I don't know that I will return unless these issues are addressed.
The atmosphere was quaint and bright. Felt open and very comfortable. The breakfast itself was bland and not very flavorful. Pretty expensive as well— I paid $20 for just a breakfast burrito, coffee, and side of fruit.
Vegan Options Available. I was able to modify the Vegetarian Options to make them Vegan. If one is not careful and don't read careful, they would assume all the Plant Based "V" next to items mean that the dishes are vegan, when in fact majority of them are Vegetarian.I ordered a side of Breakfast Potatoes minus butter and added sauteed vegetables to the top.
