They call this cheese? Have eaten at the Elizabeth’s in Greensboro for twenty years and wanted some comfort food. Got this sad excuse for a pizza for $20. Worst Elizabeth’s experience, drive to Greensboro for some actual food.

Food is overpriced. Why is an order of crinkle fries with bacon bits and cheese on top $10? Why is a calamari appetizer $16? Why is a side of spinach or broccoli $6? I’ve worked in, operated, and owned restaurants my whole life, and this is just price gouging at its finest. And at the worst possible time considering our country is in an economic downslide and gas prices have literally doubled. Save yourself some money and look elsewhere for equal quality food (if not better) for fair and reasonable prices. Also, a couple of the servers there have personality problems. One girl in particular with light brown hair who makes faces at customers like she’s annoyed and makes comments about them to the Italian guy making pizzas. If I’m paying top dollar, the food AND customer service better be top notch. The owner isn’t very nice either, but he’s a money hungry Italian, so I would expect nothing less. I obviously will never be back to this place and I would encourage anyone thinking about going here to steer clear and try one of the many, many other options available in WS.

I really like that they had a bar for beer and wine. We drank a beer at the bar while waiting on our to go order. The pizza is always great!!??

Elizabeth’s Pizza has been a consistently good favorite Italian restaurant for many years. The food is always fresh and hot. Today I had lasagna and house salad. The lasagna was delicious and the salad was fresh, cold and crispy. Lunchtime gets busy but service remains quick and attentive. You will enjoy dining here for lunch or dinner.

After eating here, solo, a couple of times, I brought hubby and he was impressed. His steak and cheese Stromboli was massive, like all the way around a 12" plate, 3" wide and high, with a bowl of marinara in the middle. He brought half home.I had the Caprese salad with grilled chicken this time. I love this salad. Fresh basil, ribbon cut with fresh mozzarella slices, a nice balsamic vinaigrette cup on the side was unnecessary; the drizzle on top was just right, and I ate the whole thing!Real soccer games on in the corner TV also.

This was a nice family restaurant. Clean and nice staff. I do recommend asking any questions if you don't understand the menu. We got the Stuffed Pizza, it was literally a pizza with an added layer of crust on the top..hence stuffed. It wasn't for us but we were looking for something different and we sure did find it. Definitely going back to try more of the menu.

Elizabeth's is always clean with friendly and helpful staff, great food and selections, and good timing for food delivery to your table. It's good to be able to leisurely eat your salad before your main dish is ready, and good timing for wait staff to check on diners.

Elizabeth Pizza was fabulous as always. Husband had the Chicken Piccata and I got the clams with white sauce with extra garlic. The salad that comes with the meal is always good along with the bread and garlic and spices for dipping the bread in. For $17 for each meal it is plenty for the money.

If you like bland tasteless Italian food this might be the place for you.

This was the nastiest steak and cheese sub I have ever ate. Below mediocre. The steak-ems that they used were barely done, the bread was incredibly soggy. Oh and $2.50 for a soda that was water. I’ve ate at Elizabeth’s all my life but I will NEVER eat here again. **doordash** order
