Lovely ladies assisted us with a half dozen , freshly made?? cake style d?ughnuts, melts in your mouth . Cute shop located in the Reynolda Village, Visited on a early Saturday morning so parking was no issue.
It was our first time trying the popular dough Joe’s warm donuts! The donuts were fine but coffee did not taste good! We love the area around and esp the trails nearby!
Such a cute little donut & coffee shop! Awesome selection of coffee drinks both hot & iced with unique seasonal flavors; and cake style donuts that are served warm & you can customize flavors with toppings. The setting is great - there's indoor seating / couches / tables / booths / bar stools and then right outside is a ton of round outdoor tables. The staff is always friendly. It does get crowded & the line gets long but it moves quickly!
Coffee & donuts, count me in! I love to go here with my friends! They always have friendly service and they even have a beautiful outdoor seating area. They have an abundance of coffee and donut options. I like to get the iced caramel latte and the earl grey flavored donut! I love earl grey tea, so the fact that they have such a unique flavor of donut is definitely what makes this place one of a kind. Ps: They even have donut sunday’s. Amazing!!!
Donuts right out of the oil. Warm with frosting waiting for you to pop them into your mouth! Great assortment of flavors and a nice staff.
INTRO: The place is known for their cake donuts, which are much denser than the donuts found at Krispy Kreme, but their sundaes are extremely underrated. There aren't that many tables inside the cafe, so don't expect to find a spot to do work here.ENTREE 1: Donuts ($1.75 each) - There is a wide variety of donut flavors, which will either be a hit or a miss. Most of the time, the donuts are a hit, but every so often, the donut will be a miss. A few of the holiday donuts were considered misses, which was surprising since they looked tasty. Because these donuts are cake donuts, they also have a tendency to be dry compared to your standard donut. 6/10ENTREE 2: French Toast Sundae ($6.00) - This sundae is the perfect combination of french toast and ice cream. The warm cinnamon sugar donut underneath the french toast ice cream with maple drizzle is the pick-me-up you didn't realize you needed. Whether it's a cold day in the winter or a hot day in the summer, this sundae will always hit the spot. 10/10DRINK 1: Matcha Latte ($5.25) - Extremely bland. The matcha flavor is not profound at all. They do use a wooden whisk to mix their matcha drinks, which shows that the establishment knows what they're doing. It's just unfortunate that their matcha lattes are weak.WORTH IT? Absolutely. The donuts are worth trying, and the sundaes are worth coming back for. (Overall 7/10)
We stopped for some coffee and donuts and were we ever glad we did. I had a delightful miel (latte with honey and cinnamon), my husband had an excellent drip and we inhaled the most amazing pastries: a scone and two donuts, one classic and one with gingerbread glaze. Both were warm and delicious. Inside and out it is a charming space with great customer service. We will be back next time we are in the area.
These doughnuts are DELICIOUS! They taste like something you might get at a county fair; they are made to order and come out piping hot! They have a lovely crispy exterior and soft, warm interior. Dough-Joe's offers many different glazes for the doughnuts, including seasonal options like apple cider, salted caramel, and pumpkin spice. YUM. I really appreciate that they are caring for their customers by continuing to wear face masks during the pandemic. Excited for my next doughnut here :)
Wow! This place is really amazing! The building in historic Reynolda Village is like stepping into a time capsule. The decor gently asks you to stay a while, sit in a cushy seat, and enjoy a break either alone or with friends. I ordered one of the best chai teas I have had in a while and a plant based blueberry muffin that blew me away. Now I understand what people have been saying....my friend had one of thier famous doughnuts which is what I will update with next time. She said it was lovely as well Please go and enjoy. Oh, outside seating available too.
