Good food , good ambiance and good service. Large selection. Fair pricing. Booths set up for semi private settings. I enjoyed the sizzling fajita.
The food is amazing !!! First time trying it out and I am very impressed , the food was delicious and horchata was on point!! Our server Nelly was awesome , very friendly and was also working the bar ! We will be back (: ❤️❤️
Have been going here about 2 years- The staff pretty much knows me and my fiance. We know all the waiters. James is awesome, he always says hello and asks how were doing even if hes not our waiter. All the servers are awesome.The beer is always really cold and good quality (draft). The salsa is so good too. I have tried a ton of things on the menu and never had a bad item. Fajitas, quesadillas, ACP, chimichangas, taco salad, love how they do their black beans- tacos jalisco are AMAZING! They have good cheese dip, guacamolee, and chips are always hot and fresh. Margaritas are really good as well. Came here for my birthday and they surprised me with a balloon pop and gave me a dessert for free. If we are anywhere on a Friday night we are usually here knee deep in a tall Bud light having a good time. Love ya guys!
Our order was taken and delivered promptly and arrived quickly. It was all tasty. The waitress was attentive. My tea was never empty for long. If I'm on this side of town again I'll consider a repeat visit.

I go here regularly when in Winston Salem. Service has always been great. The food never disappoints, and the location is super convenient! I live in a town with a Mexican restaurant on practically every corner, but this one is by far my favorite... I just hate that it's a two hour drive away!
Don Zapata's is absolutely incredible. If you want fresh food, fast and good service, a calm aesthetic, this is your place. I got Arroz con camarón with extra rice and the portion size was perfect. The rice was rich the shrimp is fresh, and the vegetables weren't overcooked. This place probably has the freshest food in Winston salem. My server Sabrina was very attentive and nice I never had to ask for anything, she was on top of her game! I appreciate the food and her service!
Went for the $2 taco Tuesday deal. Food and service were both great.
Extremely slow service. Salsa wasn't bad but everything else was not worth the wait. We will try again to see if it's the same service. Try not to go off bad first impression. My food wasn't the worst just after waiting an hour just really didn't want to eat it.
